What if she sets up a profile, only to be matched with Theo? He left town for Paris in 2021, but it’s been a long two years, so, maybe he ended up back in New York?
Or somewhere close to town, without “being in town”. The two may fluff off the match-up on the app and try to reconnect as “old acquaintances”, but almost immediately feel a connection.
Then again, what if Theo’s in need of a job? Maybe he doesn’t reach out to Summer via a dating app, rather, an email looking for work.
Maybe Marchetti or Jabot is in desperate need of someone to help with marketing/PR/social media now that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) are no longer with the company.

This would definitely be reason enough for Theo to re-enter storylines, and re-enter Summer’s bed (slowly, but surely).
Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Won’t Only Be Upset, He’ll Be Jealous, Too
Kyle wouldn’t only be upset that Theo was back in town, working for his dad’s company, but he may feel a major tinge of jealousy knowing Summer is with Vanderway.
Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) would likely welcome Theo back with open arms, hoping to establish a concrete relationship with him, this time around.
The entire ordeal would infuriate his son to no end, which would open up a major can of drama.
