Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) character is being written into a corner. While there’s a good chance that she did not kill Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), as she had blacked out during the entire incident, everything she’s done since is completely out of character. Will the once-heroine be able to redeem herself?

Y&R spoilers note that fans are still reeling from the fact that once Sharon realized that Heather had passed away, instead of calling the police, she cleaned up the crime scene and dumped the woman’s corpse over a bridge into the river.

She also used Heather’s lifeless face to get into her phone, change the password, block the GPS location using an app, and proceeded to text both Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) pretending to be Heather.

In addition, the lengths she has gone and the lies she’s told, to frame Daniel for a murder he did not commit has crossed so many lines.

Y&R Spoilers – It’s More Than Just Mental Health

At this point with Sharon, it seems more than just mental health instability and lack of meds. After all, it seems like she has been taking her bipolar medication, but still seeing the “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) hallucination.

Could Sharon have a brain tumor? It would explain her dark personality and not being able to shake off the thoughts and emotions she’s been feeling as of late. It could possibly also explain that despite “trying to get back on track” (after all, Heather’s murder did shake her up), she simply cannot.

Plus, it’s hard to ignore all the headaches, blackouts, being so tired, etc. These are all signs of the condition, but everyone is so focused on her mental health, that they are ignoring these red flags.

There needs to be some sort of explanation as to why Sharon got off her meds in the first place, and why her behavior has done such a 180. Sharon hasn’t been a saint in the past, but over the recent years, she’s become a better person – one that would be horrified at what she’s done recently.
