Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, April 16 – Victor Tells Nikki About AJ’s Death – Phyllis Confronts Abby – Sharon & Rey’s Get-Away

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, April 16, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braden) will talk with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) after bringing her flowers. Nikki will be concerned about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the humiliation she’s faced now that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is CEO of Newman Enterprises. Victor will say that he wants to reinstate Victoria asap.

Nikki will go on about how difficult all of this is on Victoria, but Victor will say that the story about what happened to AJ Montalvo must never see the light of day. Nikki will implore Victor to tell her the truth and she’ll say that she doesn’t think that Victor trusts her.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby Newman Learns The News About Adam Newman’s CEO Drama

Next on Y&R, over at Society, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will talk with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Mariah will be concerned that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) could get drawn into Adam’s drama. They’ll note that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is planning on taking Sharon to a get-away later tonight.

Soon, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will arrive, and Mariah and Tessa will ask her about what’s going on with Adam, but she won’t know anything. Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will show up and Abby will quiz him about whether he knew what Adam was going to do. Chance will say that he didn’t, and they’ll talk about how Abby is on the outside where her family is concerned.

Mariah and Tessa will continue their conversation at their table, and Mariah will tell Tessa that she went dancing with Abby one evening. They’ll also discuss how Lindsay the bartender (Kirby Bliss Blanton) is now working at another bar.

Meanwhile, at Sharon’s place, Sharon will say that she’s feeling pretty good. Sharon and Rey will talk about making the most of her good health and spirits with some romance. Rey will say that Sharon should leave things up to him.

At the Grand Phoenix, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will arrive and greet Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Traci will get checked in for some rest and relaxation, and Phyllis will arrange for some in-room spa services. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will arrive next, to talk with Phyllis about Adam. Nick will be livid with Adam, and he’ll explain to Phyllis about how Adam has dirt on Victor.

Phyllis will get all the details, but she won’t think that Victor is really guilty of the crime. Phyllis will tell Nick that she has information that could give Nick leverage against Adam. Phyllis will take off.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sharon Newman & Rey Rosales Enjoy Some Down Time At The Grand Phoenix

Later, Sharon and Rey will await their room being ready and they’ll discuss taking a vacation after Sharon’s treatment is complete. Up in her room, Traci will call Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to thank him for suggesting she do something to relax. And when they make it to their room, Rey and Sharon will enjoy some solitude together.

Sharon will wonder if Rey had hoped to keep the news about Adam from her. They’ll decide not to talk about Adam, and they’ll kiss. Sharon will fret about this possibly being the last time they’ll be together before everything changes with her. Rey will sweetly tell Sharon that she’ll always be the most beautiful woman to him.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Summers Confronts Abby Newman About The Safe Deposit Box Theft

Back at Society, Phyllis will show up and confront Abby. Phyllis will have just been to her safe deposit box, and she’ll accuse Abby of stealing the flash drive with the recording of Adam and Chance’s Vegas conversation on it. Phyllis will note that Abby has just inadvertently helped clear the path for Adam, since Phyllis was going to use the flash drive to help the Newman family.

Meanwhile, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will show up and talk with Mariah and Tessa. Theo will note that he’s glad that Mariah and Tessa are back together, and he’ll apologize for the past. Theo will even suggest that they hire him as a social media manager, but they’ll turn him down flat. Mariah will then take the opportunity to needle Theo about the contest at Jabot.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby Newman Has A Big Request For Chance Chancellor

Over at the bar, Abby will ask Chance if he’d consider getting Adam involved in another conversation about what happened in Las Vegas and record it to help Victoria. Chance will promptly say no, because Adam saved his life.

Back at the Newman Ranch, Nick will arrive and confront Victor about why he’s given in to Adam. Victor will say that he’s protecting his family, and that will lead to a heated argument between the men. Victor will tell Nick as they’re arguing that it’s dangerous to dig into the story, and Nick will be livid. Nick will leave in a huff.

Victor Newman Tells Nikki Newman What Happened In Kansas

Victor will talk with Nikki next, and he’ll say that if he tells her about what happened in Kansas, then there’s no going back. Nikki will say that she needs to know, so Victor will say that he’ll tell her everything. Afterwards, Nikki will be shocked, and she’ll say that she understands why he’s been handling the situation with Adam as he has been. Nikki will say that they’ll find a way through this together.

Finally, on Thursday’s new episode of Y&R, Phyllis will regroup with Nick, telling him that she couldn’t get the information she thought she had on Adam. Nick will indicate that it’s ok, and that he didn’t want her involved, anyway.
