Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, December 27: Nikki Vanishes From Hospital After Emotional Reunion With Newman Family

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with Victor (Eric Braeden) sitting by Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) bedside, revealing he has to leave her now, but she must keep fighting as she is strong and the family needs her more than ever. He promises that they will be together really soon, kisses her on the forehead and hand before he leaves. Nate (Brooks Darnell) comes to check on his patient, Nikki and he notices something odd.

In the ICU waiting room, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) brings Noah (Robert Adasmson) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) some coffee . Noah feels optimistic, thinking they could all have a gift coming. Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Billy (Jason Thompson) and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) arrive, learning there was no change but hold out hope because she made it through the night.

Young And Restless Spoilers – Kyle And Lola Canoodle

Kyle (Michael Mealor) teases Lola (Sasha Calle) about how long it took them to eat breakfast, how long it took for them to kiss; just complimenting her on how much he loves the fit she got him. Lola tells Kyle that she can’t top what he is saying about the watch. He lets the word “love” slip out, but she likes where it is going. He tells her the right phrasing would be “I get you!”

Fen (Zach Tinker) is busy serving tables when he sees Devon (Bryton James). Devon gives him a copy of the demo, as Ana (Loren Lott) arrives, saying she would like a coffee from Kyle; once he is gone she tells Devon to quit acting like he discovered Fen because she did!

Young And Restless Spoilers – Nikki Wakes Up

Nate watches as Nikki opens her eyes, he asks if she can hear him. Outside, Jack (Peter Bergman) sits with them, positive Nikki will come out of it soon but in the meantime, he will take over his duties at Dark Horse. Nate runs in, telling everyone there has been a change. Nikki has come back, but he needs time to examine her saying this could be the break they were waiting for. He reminds them this is a delicate and crucial time for Nikki, so they need to remain patient until he knows more and making her stable is their top priority.

Victoria hugs Billy very happy, but Reed wanders the halls feeling emotional. Billy finds him, hugs him agreeing about the rollercoaster. Victoria holds him saying they can finally have some hope! Phyllis, Jack, Nick and Noah are grateful Nikki is back, but it doesn’t make sense how Victor is still missing in action. Nate checks Nikki twice over, saying she has made a remarkable turn around. He wants to keep her family away from her, but she grabs his arm and smiles as he says they can come in as long as they keep it brief.

Devon continues to chastise Ana for using the studio behind his back. He doesn’t think she can be a producer without any experience. He acknowledges that she has the eye and smarts but even the seasoned vets have trouble keeping up; wondering if she knows how difficult it is to make money in the music business. He admits she did a good thing finding Fen as long as she knows there is a lot more to this than just one big hit. He says they have two great discoveries in their hands, one being Fen and the other being the person who wrote the song. He likes the song on its own and wants to sign them to an exclusive writing deal as soon as possible. Ana refuses to help that happen.

Young And Restless Spoilers – Victoria And Nick Reunite With Nikki

Nate tells everyone it is too soon for visitors, but Nikki disagrees so he needs to respect that. He says she is on the road to recovery, but they need to remember it may be a very long road. They can see her but need to keep her calm and maximum 2-3 people at one time. Nate tells them he is going home to get some rest and if they need anything to call him. Nick and Victoria rush in to see her but when Nick asks about the night of the accident; Nikki asks where Victor is, admitting to them that Victor was there and saved him; giving her strength. Victoria believes her.

Lola is selling her legendary sandwiches at Crimson Lights when Kerry (Alice Hunter) buys on and compliments her purse and style. She says Kyle is just like his father then, as Jack bought her a trip to a 5-star resort in Bora Bora. Lola is shocked to learn at how limited the purse really is, and shows her the number inside the purse about what number it was out of the 800 they made.

Ana says the songwriter lives East and is happy devoting himself to the craft of songwriting while avoiding the craftier side of things. Devon presses for more information, as Fen chimes in saying it is a killer hit and would love to sing more. Ana agrees for Devon to meet him, but there will be restrictions; she promises to see what she can do. Once Devon leaves, Fen apologizes to Ana feeling he had to fall into line when Devon walked into the studio. He didn’t think calling Devon out on his bad behavior was the best way to kick things off with her brother. Fen calls her out on it, saying he knows she is the song writer.

Jack comes to see Nikki, after she called specifically to see him. Nikki struggles, but tells him she was drinking when the accident happened. She knows the drinking is on her, but he says top priority is her physical healing and once she is back on her feet they will go to AA meetings together. Billy is happy Nikki is getting better, but he knows how this took a toll on her and her heart.

Victoria thanks Billy for having her back; he admits she hasn’t always been able to count on him but this time it is different. He tells her that this isn’t over yet as she thanks him for being there for her and the three kids, knowing how much it meant to all of them. The two embrace as someone watches from behind window blinds.

Noah is excited to see Nikki, but Reed is hesitant; wondering what Nikki has to say. Billy walks with Reed. Nick thanks Phyllis for everything and how she got him through this. Phyllis makes a comment that Sharon (Sharon Case) was also a help; Nick feels he should thank her when he sees her. Nick wanted to thanks Nate for all he has done and Phyllis says she saw him in the cafeteria, causing Nick to take off, hoping to find him.

Fen stops Ana from leaving the GCAC, asking her to speak to him for two minutes. After Fen says he felt every word he sang and how much it affected her; she admits she wrote it but he cannot tell Devon. She tells him the short answer to his question is she was robbed.

Young and Restless Spoilers – Nick Thanks Nate For Saving His Mom

Nick finds Nate in the parking garage, saying he didn’t get a chance to thank him for saving his mother. Nate reminds him it was Nikki who did it. Nick says Nate is going to find out very quickly that he is like his father and appreciates that his dad personally brought Nate back to town. Once Nick leaves, Victor says Nick was right as Nate has been a huge asset to his family; he cannot return to the hospital and that is why he is doing this. He tells Nate that whoever ran over his wife, has not completed the job and he needs Nate to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Lola is packing her sandwiches up when she angrily tells him she looked up the price of the purse and gives it back to him. She told him right from the start that she wasn’t here for Kyle’s money. He doesn’t think it is stupid to have nice things and things he can depend on. Lola suggests he can return the watch to a thrift shop because the purse cost more than everything she owns; throwing it in his face that he must think everything she owns is crap.

Victoria finds Phyllis in the waiting room and Phyllis wants to talk. She is relieved for Nikki, Nick and the entire family. They both have questions as to whether it was an accident or not. Phyllis feels they need to find out what is going on and the questions would be better coming from them than the police. Nikki is thrilled to see Noah and Reed, but she says things are too fuzzy for her to remember why she squeezed Noah’s hand. Reed admits he is quiet but happy that she woke up and will be okay.

Nikki feels it has been a tough year and she is sorry everyone had to worry about her. Noah says they need to get the doctor back in there if that is what she believes. Nikki wonders what kind of grandmother would ruin Christmas?

Nate feels what Victor is asking is insane, but he feels it is an emergency; this is not something he wants to be done, but it has to be done. When asked again, Nate needs to tell Victor whether he is in or out.

Ana talks to Fen about her musical career, writing and performing her own songs. She was blown away when someone offered to submit her work. She signed it over without noticing what the paperwork said. She is fine with being behind the scenes, she will leave being famous to him. She agrees to work with him if he keeps her identity a secret.

Jack shares the good news with Kerry, saying now that they have had their miracle; he can now focus on their trip to Bora Bora. She apologizes for the way she reacted to his relationship with his ex; but as soon as Jack says it was Nikki’s idea that they go right away, Kerry feels they shouldn’t disappoint her.

Kyle asks Lola to back this conversation up. He loves the watch while she loves the purse. He doesn’t think its about a competition and she was so happy at Christmas when she got the purse. She remains upset, saying if he cannot understand spending that kind of money makes her uncomfortable than she was wrong because he doesn’t get her at all; and if he thinks she is over reacting than he doesn’t respect her and can’t be with him. She hands him back the empty purse and leaves Crimson as Kyle wants to know if she is saying they are over.

Nick says Noah brought Reed home while Nick, Phyllis and Victoria go back to see Nikki, saying they are there to tuck her in; but her bed is empty!
