Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, March 19 – Victor Denies Knowing Alyssa’s Family – Tessa Rejects Mariah – Phyllis & Nick Cause A Stir

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, March 19, tease that the drama is really heating up on the CBS soap. First off, Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will wake up together in Kyle’s hotel suite at the Grand Phoenix. They’ll prepare for their day, and Summer will say that she’s got plans for them later involving her parents.

Meanwhile, in the lobby, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will needle each other over the hotel. Abby will bring up her plans to build a new hotel across the street, and Phyllis will balk. Soon, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will arrive and Phyllis will praise her for her stellar marketing work at the hotel.

Y&R Spoiler: Chloe Mitchell Hands In Her Resignation

Chloe will promptly hand Phyllis a letter of resignation, and Phyllis will be deflated. Abby will gloat, saying that she wouldn’t be surprised if other hotel employees followed suit. Chloe will take off and Phyllis will take the opportunity to tell Abby that Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will only disappoint her just like every other man in her life.

Abby will say that at least she has a man, and Phyllis will insinuate that she does too. Summer and Kyle will join them, and Abby will turn to Kyle and tell him that he should watch his back around “those two,” looking at Phyllis and Summer.

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Newman & Chelsea Lawson Wonder About Victor Newman’s Past

Next on Y&R, at their penthouse, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will chat. Chelsea will warn Adam that Chloe is stopping by later, and they’ll talk a bit about their recent trip to Kansas. They’ll remember talking with Adam’s friend Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDominico), and how strange it was that Adam and his mom didn’t go to Alyssa’s dad’s funeral back in the day.

They’ll also bring up the fact that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was visiting at the same time that Alyssa’s dad died, and Chelsea will hesitantly say that perhaps Victor had something to do with the man’s death. Adam will say that he’s going to go do some reconnaissance in enemy territory about the whole thing.

Later, Chloe will come by to talk with Chelsea, and she’ll share that she turned in her resignation at the Grand Phoenix. They’ll both be glad to have the hotel behind them. Chelsea will share some of her sketches that she worked on during her Kansas trip. They’ll both be excited about the prospect of working together in fashion, and Chloe will even be supportive as Chelsea says she’s excited about her future with Adam.

Y&R Spoilers: Adam Newman Drops Alyssa Montalvo’s Name In Front Of Victor Newman

Meanwhile, at the Newman Ranch, Victor, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be discussing Newman business when Nick announces that he’ll be out of the office for a while to tend to New Hope business. As they’re talking, Adam will arrive, and Nikki will demand that he not cause friction. Adam will insist that he’s there for another reason.

Adam will proceed to say that he, Chelsea, and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) were just in Kansas at the farm and that the property was very run down. Victor will vow to remedy the situation. Adam will then drop Alyssa’s family name, but Victor will claim that it doesn’t ring a bell. Adam will eventually leave, and both Nick and Victor will think that Adam’s up to something.

Later, Nikki will find Victor sitting and thinking, and Victor will lament that he should have been a better father-figure to Adam when he was a boy. Nikki will reassure him, and Victor will reiterate that Adam seems to be up to something.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Tessa Porter Gets A Public Apology

Next on Y&R, at a tour locale, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will have trouble as she’s tuning her guitar at sound check. Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman) will ask her what’s wrong, but she’ll cover, saying she’ll be fine once she gets the guitar tuned. Tanner will quietly check his phone.

Later, after Tessa’s performance, she’ll be on stage getting applause when Tanner suddenly walks out and greets the crowd. He’ll tell the audience that they have a special guest with them tonight, and he’ll start to play the song that Tessa wrote for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Suddenly, Mariah will appear on stage, and she and Tessa will look at each other intently.

Mariah will speak into a microphone and publicly apologize to Tessa, saying that she loves her and that she’ll never betray her again. She’ll go on about her behavior, while Tessa just stares. Mariah will end by saying that she’ll do anything to make it up to Tessa, but Tessa will not have the desired reaction. Rather, she’ll simply walk off stage.

Y&R Spoilers: Summer Newman Realizes That Her Parents Are Together Again

Meanwhile, Nick will arrive in the lobby of the Grand Phoenix to meet with Summer, Kyle, and Phyllis. Nick will immediately start in on Summer and Kyle, saying that they’d better not have a big announcement to make. Phyllis will reassure him that Summer doesn’t have a ring on her finger. Summer and Kyle will do their best to explain that they are together for keeps now and that things are different.

Nick won’t like any of this, and he’ll bring up Kyle’s past behavior, irritating Phyllis, who will accuse him of being judgmental and holding Summer and Kyle to high moral standards that he can’t meet himself. As Phyllis and Nick bicker, it will become apparent to Summer and Kyle that something’s going on between them.

At one point, Phyllis and Nick will each have to leave in frustration, and Summer will realize that her parents are hooking up again. By the end of their time together, both Summer and Kyle will agree that Nick and Phyllis are sleeping together again.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Amanda Sinclair Opens Up About Her Background In Foster Care

Next on Y&R, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will return to Crimson Lights after an unsuccessful search for Jared (Michael Maclane). Amanda will express frustration over not being able to find him – he’ll need to make arrangements for his grandfather’s burial, but he’s nowhere to be found.

As Nate and Amanda talk, she’ll share some details about her past in the foster care system. She’ll talk about how she never really emotionally connected with her foster parents. Nate will ask if Amanda has ever searched for her biological roots, and Amanda won’t want to talk about it, but she will say that she never went there.

Abby will enter the coffeehouse and spy Nate and Amanda in a close moment. Adam, who will be standing around, will tell Abby that she was too good for Nate, anyway. He’ll proceed to tell her the people on the bottom of Victor’s pecking order need to stick together, and that she should be careful.

Finally, on Wednesday’s new episode of Y&R, Adam will go back home and tell Chelsea that he went to the ranch and dropped Alyssa’s family name to Victor and that he got a glimmer in his eye – one that he recognized all too well. Adam will say that Victor’s holding something back.
