“The Young and the Restless” (YR) spoilers for Thursday, May 23, 2019 tease that we will have a day filled with a heartbreaking decision, two reunite, and let’s not forget plenty of drama. We have a very exciting day coming up and you will not want to miss a moment of the action!
Y&R spoilers reveal that Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will call Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to come home and help her deal with their mother, Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) who’s health is deteriorating. Traci will tell Jack that their mom lashed out. Jack will sit down with Dina but has to remind her who he is and assures her everything is going to be okay.

Traci will suggest that they re-visit putting their mother somewhere and Jack will agree it’s time. Jack thought they could handle things and she could spend her last days at home but realizes how much worse his mother has got. Jack will call Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and she is going to fly home to help sort things out. As Jack and Traci discuss this Dina will listen from the stairs. Do you Y&R fans think Dina will try to run away after hearing them?
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott will visit Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) over at the hospital. They are happy to see one another and do some catching up. Adam thinks Jack may be the one that can help him figure out what is going on. They will discuss the latest business developments in the Newman family. Jack will assure Adam that he will always have his back. Adam will swear to Jack that his amnesia was real.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Paul Grows Suspicious
After Jack is gone, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will show up and let Adam know they had someone come in the police station and confess to shooting him. Paul thinks none of it makes sense. Adam will get defensive and insists that things are as they appear. Do you think Paul will end up catching on and figuring out that the person confessing is not the real shooter?

Other “Young and Restless” spoilers suggest that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will stop by Society and find Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) angrily slicing up vegetables by the bar. She will reveal to him that her cheating ex and his pregnant lover left town together. As she is telling him she will accidentally cut herself and he will patch her up. Nate let’s her know if she needs a friend that he is there. As he is going to leave Abby will ask him to dinner and he will agree. Do you think Abby is only doing this because she is upset over Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela)?

I didn’t hear anything yet but they will probably have to find a place for her if she’s getting worse. That’s about the only thing you can do…………….
I LIKE WHAT ZOE HAD TO SAY! If you had to live with love one that has the Alzheimer disease it is very hard on family. I am glad to see Y&R is willing to allow the public to see what a family is going though.
This is the best story line to come out of the ”Mal Young era” So sad to see a loved one’s mental decline . I have taken care of these people in nursing homes – difficult to say the least . On the bright side if there is a bright side Dina will get the best of care , and not be placed into a state run facility . WE need more heartfelt stories that touch the viewers and personally mean something to them . ( not always who’s going to sleep with who ) I know it’s fantasy on the soaps , but some times we need to get ”real ” Hats off to ” Dina’s story ” , we will miss you !
