Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday October 1: Traci and Jack Dig Into Dina’s Past, Adrian Rosales Returns, and Connor Makes Progress

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday October 17th indicate that Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) try to learn about Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) past relationships, Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) returns to Genoa City, and Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) behavior takes a positive turn.

At Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) place, he and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) are discussing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Chelsea asks for Nick’s help in finding Adam, she believe it will help Connor, but Nick isn’t sure. Chelsea says Connor’s behavior began after Adam left and she wants to help her son by bringing his dad back. Nick agrees to assist Chelsea in her search.

The couple ask Connor to come into the living room to talk about the fight at school. Connor says he hit the boy because the kid said something bad about Adam. Nick scolds the boy and says he should’ve been the bigger person by walking away. Connor then takes Chelsea’s phone to call Adam, but it goes straight to voicemail and Connor gets upset. The couple comforts Connor and Chelsea say there are plenty of people who love him.

Nick goes to get Christian Newman (Alex Wilson), and he and Connor go off to play. Chelsea is happy to see Connor playing with Christian and feels that some progress is being made. Nick again reminds Chelsea that they’ll work through their problems together as a family.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) are at the apartment discussing the dreams they had about babies. Kyle talks about how disappointed Lola was with the negative pregnancy test and asks if she wants to have a baby. Lola again says now is not the right time for kids. Kyle then switches the topic to Lola’s illness and asks Lola to go to the doctor. She says it’s nothing but the flu, and the best thing is for her to stay home and rest. Kyle stops by Crimson Lights for coffee and a mysterious man watches him, then looks at a photo of Kyle on his cell phone.

Lola is at home when the doorbell rings, she opens the door to find her father Adrian. She’s annoyed to see him and asks what he wants. Adrian says that he’s in trouble and takes off his sunglasses to reveal a black eye. When Lola asks if he got into a fight over a woman, Adrian admits he had an affair with a married woman. Adrian says the angry husband is looking for him and asks for Lola’s help. She refuses, tells him good luck trying to get out of this predicament.

Kyle returns home to find Adrian in the apartment. Adrian tells Kyle the same story he told Lola. Kyle warns Lola that Adrian is after their money and not to give him a penny. When Adrian asks if he could stay the night, Lola becomes angry and asks Kyle to get rid of her father before she returns. After Lola leaves, Adrian turns on the waterworks. He says Lola would be devastated if anything were to happen to him. Exasperated with Adrian’s behavior, Kyle writes him a check, then orders him to leave and never hurt Lola again.

Later Lola returns home, but spends most of the time in the bathroom because she’s sick. Kyle waits for her outside the door and when she finally comes out, they cuddle together on the couch. Kyle asks if she’s upset that her dad left. Lola admits she is concerned about her father, then she brings up the day she and Kyle become parents. Kyle says he’s committed to having a family with her and he’s going to be there for their kids every step of the way.

Adrian is at the Grand Phoenix later in the day, when he spots Traci. He introduces himself and the two start to chat over drinks. He brags about her being a famous author and the two make a toast.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Talks About Pregnancy Scare

At the Abbott mansion, Traci and Jack are discussing their research. He tells her that he learned Genoa City used to be called Genoa Junction. Traci says she can find out answers about Dina and Stuart Brooks from his daughters. She said she’s reached out to Lorie Brooks (Jaime Lyn Bauer) and Leslie Brooks (Janice Lynde). Jack starts looking through an old yearbook from John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) and Dina’s school days. Traci receives a call from Leslie, and after she hangs up she tells Jack that Leslie remember one of Dina’s letters to Stuart being found in her father’s belongings.

Kyle arrives as Jack and Traci are doing their research. Jack asks Kyle if Dina ever talked about Stuart and he says he’s never heard her mention anything about him. Kyle talks about Jack doing research on the Abbott family, then asks how Jack feels about becoming a grandfather. Jack is stunned, but then Kyle tells him that Lola had a pregnancy scare and Jack’s disappointed at the prospect of not being a granddad. When Kyle goes to fetch some crackers for Lola, Traci says she’s awaiting an email from Leslie about Dina’s letter.

Later Traci and Jack read Dina’s letter to Stuart, and they notice a Shakespeare quote along with smudges. They believe Dina was emotional when she wrote the letter. Traci leaves the room as Jack continues to read the letter.
