Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, January 29: Danger Lurks For Katie – Mia’s Jealousy Takes Dark Turn – Kerry Explains Her Syringe

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins on Tuesday January 29 with Victor (Eric Braeden) pleased to see Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and her daughter, Kate. Kate wants to play with her male friend, that is real but imaginary as Victor and Victoria have business to discuss; he says watching Kate do that last night was exactly like Victoria when she was a child.

Kyle (Michael Mealor) tries to get Lola (Sasha Calle) to take the night off, but she declines as she’s busy working on the restaurant; their call is interrupted when Summer (Hunter King) appears off the Jabot elevator, saying it was a spur of the moment thing and she came t clear the air with Kyle.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Confronts Kerry About Lying

Kerry (Alice Hunter) arrives at the Abbott house, when Jack (Peter Bergman) dampers the mood, saying they need to have a serious talk. Jack talks about his relationships and how some of them failed because of lying; honesty is key and was upset when she was dishonest. He confronts her, saying he knows she has been keeping something from him.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) calls Nick (Joshua Morrow), hoping they could have talked before he left that morning and appreciates Nick standing up for her and believing that she didn’t frame Victor. She reveals she is working from home today, in hopes that he will come home to discuss it. Nick is at Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, where she confesses they all agreed the fewer the people who know was the better. Sharon believes Nick is treating only her like this is because he feels like he has nothing to lose. Nick admits he is picking her out of all of them because she is the one he thought he could trust the most!

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mia Cyberbullies Abby

Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) is reading all the social media feeds on Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Arturo’s (Jason Canela) engagement and feels disgusted, or jealous. She writes that “Abby Newman wants a lapdog, not a husband. Are you that hard up for cash Arturo? A real man like you deserves a real woman. One who’s not obsessed with a mirror.” There is a knock at her door and it is Abby surprising her.

Summer reminds Kyle that he strongly encouraged her to take the job offer from Victor. She understands what she did and it was uncool; she promises she won’t be trying to get him to give her another chance anymore. Kyle guesses that she has a new boyfriend, but Summer says it is just a new outlook. Summer tells him how she took the opportunity to prove herself to everyone and buckled down and did the work. He jokes that the Newman in her is finally taking over. She thanks him for giving her that shove and her getting on the plane; asking if he is free for dinner so she can tell him all about her work.

Sharon tells Nick she almost told him just before the wedding but didn’t follow through because the others found out and told her she was making a mistake. They finally talk about their bachelor/bachelorette party and how they both had horrible secrets they desperately wanted to reveal; but people held them back.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kerry Explains Syringe

Kerry goes on the defensive with Jack, but he stops her as he says that he has a confession of his own. He was so concerned about her deception that he looked into her purse and he feels it was a huge invasion of privacy; Kerry pulls out the syringe and starts to laugh nervously, leaving Jack confused. Kerry says she isn’t sick, it isn’t medicine and she is not comfortable saying anything else on it, as it is personal. He learns that she was really at the doctor’s office when she lied about being in court. She promises to tell him the whole story in time as he asks her if she is a recovering addict. She blurts out that she has been giving herself hormone injections because she is getting ready to freeze her eggs.

Abby gives Mia flowers, saying it is a belated wedding gift and an apology. She has no idea Arturo was going to steal her thunder and can only imagine how Mia felt by Arturo stepping on it. Abby tells her that they could keep bickering forever, but she doesn’t want to start her new family like that. She wants to make amends and to start fresh.

Victor is extremely proud of how Victoria is running things in his absence and now wants to send her and the children on a vacation; she declines the offer. Victor sits her down, saying that most of the world has been informed of his arrest, he wants Victoria to take over his position; giving everyone the impression the company is under top dealership. Normally she would jump at the chance, Victoria reveals how her being away for any time period would be rough on the kids; Victoria agrees to step in when he promises him and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will watch the kids.

Kyle doesn’t think it is a good idea for them to go out for dinner, as it’s not appropriate. He is surprised that she isn’t trying to goat him into it as she says she is respecting his boundaries. She goes to give him a hug as she might not see him again before she heads back to Dubai. Kyle seems flustered by her hug.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Abby And Mia Have Awkward Tea

Mia gives Abby some tea, but the room is full of tension as Mia admits that it bothered her that Arturo hijacked their ceremony; which only makes her more grateful to be married to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), who is a real man always considering other people’s feelings. Mia mocks Abby about her wardrobe, saying she is sorry for doing that but Abby said she never did. Abby says talking about apologies, she seems to have a lot more to be sorry for; especially after she revealed Arturo confided in her that he was never really in love before. Abby used to be threatened by Mia and Arturo’s ancient relationship as Arturo has clearly put it in his past, so they should too.

Nick admits that if he told Sharon the truth about his night with Phyllis, he knew she would leave him. Nick says none of this would have happened, if she was upfront about JT (Thad Luckinbill); things would have been very different right now. Nick wonders if she believes they would still be together if she had just been honest. Sharon says it is impossible that Nick would have responded the way he did and he always handles their problems by turning to Phyllis. Nick doesn’t want to argue about this as it’s obvious they cannot fix it. Sharon tells him that she made decisions a long time ago and not interested in wallowing in regret and if he is in that position, he should talk to Phyllis; unless she is one of his regrets too!

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack And Kerry Have The Baby Talk

Jack doesn’t want Kerry to make light of this as he feels they need to talk about the idea of having a child. She makes it clear that she started this process before they even became an item. She wants to do this so she can focus on her life and work right now; leaving her the option to have a baby later. Jack reveals he had a cancer scare and he froze some of his sperm, a decision he make after a lot of consideration. Kerry thanks him for sharing but doesn’t feel this should even be on their radar at the moment. Jack assumed things but feels this is a lot to think about.

Victor is shocked that Summer came home, with Victoria telling her how proud they are of her work in Dubai. Summer is surprised to learn the GCPD have no leads on who ran her down. Victor suggests Summer stays in town and assist Victoria, so she isn’t overwhelmed with all the work.

Mia brings out some bridal magazines, saying weddings are her specialty but Abby says she will be using her own stylist. When Mia learns that Abby loved how beautiful Lola looked for her date with Kyle the other night; she wants to put her in the chair for a sneak peek. Abby tries to protest, but Mia is persistent. They talk hairstyles, as Mia says she wants to give her a little trim and quickly grabs scissors about to cut it extremely short.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Thrilled By Summer’s Return

Victor asks Summer if she wants to continue to Dubai or return to Genoa City and try something new. She feels she is ready to come home but Victoria’s face shows her displeasure. Victor is thrilled everyone is going to work on restoring their reputation.

Nick returns home as Phyllis talks about being in the guest bedroom, wishing he had talked to her. Nick says he needs some time to process everything from the past few days. He feels like he barely knows all 4 women and is now thinking about the “what ifs” if he was just included from the beginning. Nick wishes Phyllis had not gone to the girls’ night at all, or came home early; wondering how they would have dealt with it if Phyllis wasn’t there to lead the charge. He confesses he would have done the exact same thing Phyllis did for which he is grateful for. He reminds Phyllis he loves her, he regrets how they got together but doesn’t regret being together.

Summer walks in on her parents getting frisky on the couch; Phyllis says next time she could call or knock. Summer announces she is moving in and they could compromise by them being a little more discreet. She can’t return to her condo because she subletted it out; she figured they would be thrilled she is back.

Kerry does her injection and knows Jack isn’t going to like what she has to say. He knows it is pretty important for her to be a mother some day. He respects this is her life and decision, but they are in different places and different goals; he feels she is with the wrong guy.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Katie’s Imaginary Friend

Victoria calls for Katie so they aren’t late for the party, but once again she has gone missing. Katie tells her friend, “I won’t tell” and joins her mother and grandfather. Meanwhile, Abby is busy looking at dresses in the magazine while Mia imagines cutting a huge chunk of her hair out. Abby is glad they made peace as it is important for the family. Mia thanks her for the flowers as Abby leaves. Mia holds her scissors in a sinister way and snaps them shut.
