Young & The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Demoted Victoria Newman, Then Billy Abbott Offered Her A Job At Jabot!

Viewers will recall that Victor made Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) extremely angry when she found out through the media during the New Hope event at the Grand Phoenix, Victor was returning to Newman Enterprises in full capacity as CEO, a position he had let Victoria have while battling his blood disease. She wasn’t so much mad that she didn’t have the position permanently as that he didn’t bother to tell her that he was coming back and demoting her to COO before she found it out through the media.

She had been ready to answer questions about what as far as she knew was a rumor of his return when he stepped ahead of her and answered the questions himself! She took concern about his health and he ignored her. She then stormed out and went to the offices of Newman Enterprises where she vented at Victor’s portrait and speared it with a letter opener, vowing that her father wouldn’t get away with his maltreatment of her this time!

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Talks To Billy Abbott About What Happened After He Left The Grand Phoenix

Billy left the New Hope event ahead of Victoria, so when she gets home she fills him in on what happened and he is outraged! He is filling in, along with his nephew Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as CEO of Jabot while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) takes off to write the family book with his sister Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland).

Billy and Victoria talk about their joint venture company, Brash and Sassy, which they ran together in the past; the company eventually folded, but at least they found out they could successfully work together. Billy offers her a job at Jabot, and all indications are that she accepts, since she is sick and tired of being second best in her father’s eyes! Her acceptance of the Jabot position may impact her relationships with her entire family, but she doesn’t care! She’s good and ready to prove to everyone that she can be every bit as ruthless as Victor!

Victor, likely to be offended over Victoria’s decision to work for longtime rival Jabot, will want some answers from Billy as to why he would lure Victoria away from Newman Enterprises to work for his family’s company instead. Victor doesn’t think he did anything wrong by returning to Newman Enterprises as CEO in full capacity; after all, he wasn’t booting Victoria out of the company, just demoting her to COO. She still had responsibilities and a job, so why would Billy lure her over to Jabot? Billy is likely to demand some answers from Victor in return, and may just tell him to his face what Victoria told him and could only vent to his portrait!
