Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) decided to play dead on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Then, after Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) tried to frame his sister for Victor’s murder, the conspirators considered calling the trap plan off. As fans know, Adam remains fooled by this death ruse.
But Vickie Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) insistence that they keep the pressure on convinced her dad to remain hidden for the time being. That means various people still need to be lied to, including loved ones who thought they were trusted.
By all accounts, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) doesn’t know that Victor is alive. Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) choice to withhold that information from her will certainly cause blow back the moment she’s told, or learns the truth.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chick’s Future Is Being Threatened
Chelsea allowed Adam to tell their son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), that his grandfather passed away. His devastation and a secondary factor seems likely to create a fierce reaction.
Once Victor rises from the grave, Chelsea will be outraged that her son was made to grieve. But she’ll also feel sympathy for Adam, as his role in the medication dosing could easily be clouded in all that is revealed.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) has taken the perceived loss of her grandfather very hard. That’s especially meaningful considering the rebound this character had within recent months.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Left Out Of The Plan
Returning to Genoa City, Wisconsin, with a me-first attitude rocking, Summer has since grounded herself. This started through the ‘Skyle’ marriage debacle, which included the generous donation of half her liver to the now Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle).
Nick felt he had to withhold this information from Summer because of the connection to her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). And, as fans saw, Nick gave Phyllis a chance to provide information about Adam and she refused to do so, further affirming that the right choice had been made regarding Summer.
Here’s hoping that Victor’s reveal doesn’t push Summer down a tortured path. Along with that is the dangerous possibility that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will take pity on his former love, which could lead to a rekindling of feelings between both characters.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Will Go One Of Two Ways
Adam will be shocked when he learns that his dad didn’t die. That will also mean the medication adjustment wasn’t responsible for Victor’s passing.

It is possible, though not likely, that Adam will have an epiphany. His reaction could be real and prove to be a come to Victor moment.
On the other hand, in the more likely scenario, Adam will feel wronged as he’s never felt wronged before. His view of reality will be vindicated, proving that he wasn’t paranoid because the Newman’s really were out to get him. Victor & all involved should spend time in jail. Let adam take over Newman enterprises & victor needs to be a father to Adam & the Newman brats need to accept Adam as a newman
I really hope Nick doesn’t poison Adam. I always wanted Nicks character to have some more interesting stories but not for his character to change into the moronic, vicious jerk.
I have read many fans have grown watching the show with their grandparents! I bet fans are thinking twice about encouraging their children to watch these days. Characters trying to murder people and worse running around town proud of it. Criminality is now fashionable in GC! I don’t expect the soap to be like Hallmark programs but please think of viewers watching with children and have some ethics, it is afterall a daytime program.
