In what is developing in a very intriguing fashion, Thompson’s character is increasingly lost within his own mind. Hiding his thoughts from Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle), while an internal conflict is suggesting that he do otherwise.

Meanwhile, a pattern has developed, as Billy crosses Amanda’s path with frequency and a covered nature that projects toward potential couple status. The threat of ‘Villy’s’ end is real, through an extended and painful sequence for this couple’s fans.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Conscience Veers Toward The Right

Billy does have a conscience. He’s also been working hard to overcome whatever his break from reality is termed by psychological professionals and their followers.

But seeking refuge in a local bar and joining a poker game telegraph serious danger ahead. Old habits are returning, while the voice inside Billy’s head tells him to do otherwise.

So, Billy isn’t lost, yet. But it seems as though he wants to be. That’s why he’s telling himself to veer back toward the right course, but then is also using his free will to do otherwise.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Addictive Personalities Flock Together?

Amanda’s personality type, positive traits, along with hidden demons have yet to be explored. Billy asked her who she was, but Morgan’s newest alter ego recoiled.

The potential friend, or more, who Billy has begun to confide in, appears to have left some type of personal issue behind in Madison, Wisconsin. She’s closed her practice there and has taken up temporary residence in Y&R’s famous setting.

Here’s hoping that she doesn’t have an alcohol problem. If so, then that addiction could have been passed through her mother, who almost assuredly is the same person who gave birth to Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s initial Y&R role).

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Involved In Backstory Discovery

There seems no doubt, considering her identical physical features and voice, that Amanda has to be related to Hilary, right? Y&R surely wrote her directly to Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) front door upon Amanda’s debut for a reason.

To think that this new character has no biological, or other link to Hilary would be too much for viewers to digest. It would be more unbelievable than what’s likely to prove true.

So, why is Billy becoming friends with Amanda? Well, he’s losing himself. So having him become part of Amanda’s self-discovery would make soapy poetic sense.
