Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday January 22: Adam Learns Chloe Saved His Life, Fen Shocks His Parents, and Phyllis Encourages Summer To Get Kyle Back

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday January 22nd indicate that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) learns that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) saved his life, Fen Baldwin’s (Zach Tinker) plans shock his parents, and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tells Summer Newman (Hunter King) that she has a shot at getting Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) back.

Chance and Adam discuss their problem

Adam stops by the Grand Phoenix to see Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). He tells her he just invested in a new tech company that specializes in video games, and how Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will like it. Their conversation then turns to today being Connor’s first day at his new school.

Phyllis is at the hotel and upon seeing Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), informs him that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will be busy all week. Phyllis then mentions she’ll be free and Chance wonders if she’s asking him on a date.

Chloe is also at the hotel and is annoyed at seeing Chelsea and Adam kissing. Chelsea joins her and asks that Chloe stop with the negativity towards Adam. She then invites Chloe to come along to pick up Connor.

Chance and Phyllis trade barbs, then he agrees to go on one date with her. Chance then leaves and joins Adam to explain they have a problem. He says that she is missing and is off the radar. Adam tells Chance everything is under control. Across the room, Chelsea is watching the two men. Adam promises the woman will resurface once it’s time to cash one the checks he sends her every month. Chance is still nervous and says he hopes Adam’s right.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Summer and Kyle’s business trip

At Jabot, Kyle and Summer are preparing for their business trip. Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) watches as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) says he picked the two best people to go on the trip. As Summer and Kyle leave, Theo promises to keep things in order while they’re gone. Kyle responds that he’s counting on Theo to do that. Once alone Kyle tells Summer it’s driving him crazy killing Theo with kindness.

Later Theo is called into Jack’s office. Jack says he’s thrilled with Theo’s job performance, but still notices there’s tension with Kyle. Theo says they just have different views. Jack reminisces about Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), then switches back to the tension between Theo and Kyle. He says he’s noticed Theo goading Kyle, and has also talked to Kyle about the situation. Jack says he hopes this is the last time they’ll have to discuss this.

At Society, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) is chatting with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) about her fight with Kyle. Devon says it’s normal for couples to fight, Lola knows, but the fight scared her. Devon leaves just as Kyle arrives. Kyle tells Lola he doesn’t like leaving town when things are tense between them. She responds that they’ll talk more when he comes back. The two kiss before Kyle leaves for his trip.

Later Theo arrives at Society, he sees Lola, then turns and walks out of the restaurant.  Summer stops by the Grand Phoenix to fetch some things and see her mother before the trip. Summer says she’s taking her lucky necklace because this is a huge business deal for Kyle.

Phyllis hopes her daughter isn’t going for Kyle, although she believes Summer could have Kyle back if she wanted him. When Summer inquires how, Phyllis responds that Summer’s more of a woman than Lola is, and even Kyle notices it. Before Phyllis goes, she reminds her daughter never to be second best. Kyle arrives to pick up Summer, and Phyllis has a concerned look on her face as she watches them leave.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Fen’s plans

At Society, Fen meets with Devon. The two discuss Fen’s addiction, and Devon promises to provide support for Fen’s next tour. Fen says he’s going to have to pass on touring, his main focus is his sobriety. Devon’s proud of Fen for making the right decision and says whenever he’s ready, his spot is always open. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) arrive, and Fen informs them of his plans.

Devon leaves to let Fen talk with his parents. Lauren hugs Fen and Michael says his son made the right decision. Fen then tells his parents that he’s planning to move to Nashville. Fen then goes on to explain that he’ll be living with his sober friends and he already has a job lined up in a recording studio. Michael and Lauren promise to visit him, but Lauren’s upset to see him leave. They hug and tell each other they love them.

Chelsea and Chloe are on the Crimson Lights patio, and they two gush over how adorable Connor and Bella Fisher (Martie Blair) are. Chloe mentions she’d love for Bella to have a sister. She then brings up if Connor knows the truth about his eyes, and Chelsea mentions she told Connor he has magic eyes. Chloe talks about how special it is that Connor is looking at Bella through Delia Abbott’s (formerly Sophie Pollono) eyes. Chloe tenses when Adam comes in, and Chelsea assures her this isn’t a set up. Adam greets his son, and Chloe introduces Adam to Bella. Chloe then follows Adam inside when the goes to get hot chocolate.

Chloe says she’s not falling for his act, and comments she wishes she’d left him to die in the road. Adam then realizes Chloe was the one who saved him the night Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tried to run him over. When Adam gets her to confess, she admits it, then says Adam owes her. She says the only reason she pushed him out of the way was to keep Billy from making a mistake. Adam promises he’s not going to let Chelsea or Connor down. Adam watches Connor and Bella, and tells Chloe the kids are all connected. Chloe then tells Adam to stop acting like he’s human.

Later Chelsea asks Adam about his conversation with Chance from earlier, and he says it’s nothing she has to concern herself with.
