Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday November 20: Nick Visits Simon, Abby’s at Her Wit’s End, and Traci Makes Progress With Her Search

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday November 20th indicate that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) visits Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) in jail, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is at her wit’s end, and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) makes progress with her research.

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) arrived at the Grand Phoenix as Abby is arguing with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Abby accuses Phyllis of having backdoor access to the security system and using the personal information to get back at those people who’ve wronged her. Phyllis denies the accusations, and says her security system helped save everyone. Abby mentions that the police also came to the rescue.

Phyllis then points out Chelsea was the reason everyone’s life was in danger, and Abby says Chelsea isn’t getting off that easily. Chelsea apologizes for her actions, then says her son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is suffering because of what she did. Abby orders Chelsea to take the day off, then Phyllis tries to leave, but Abby stops her. Abby says the difference between Chelsea and Phyllis’ situation is that Phyllis move was calculated. Abby fires Phyllis, but Phyllis warns her she doesn’t have a case because she doesn’t have any evidence. Later Abby calls Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and thanks him for saving the hotel.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Nick’s visit

Nick visits Simon in jail and warns that his business with Chelsea is over. He says if Simon has a problem take it up with him, but leave Chelsea and Connor out of this. He warns that if Simon causes problems for anyone he loves, he’ll make Simon pay. Simon promises he won’t cause any more trouble. Nick hopes he’s right.

After Nick leaves, Simon makes a call to his lawyer. He wants a meeting with the Feds because he has information on Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers).

When Nick arrives home, he tells Chelsea about his visit with Simon. Chelsea says she thought she saw one of Simon’s henchmen outside the building earlier. Chelsea wishes things could go back to normal, but Nick says in order to do that they need to address their trust issues. They agree to be honest with each other and as they’re about to kiss, her phone rings. It’s Connor who says he had a nightmare and Nick gestures for Chelsea to go.  Later Nick goes to Society where Phyllis joins him and offers to buy him a drink.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Billy’s decision

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) stops by Newman Enterprises to see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). He says he’s made a big decision about his future. After Victoria hears of his plan, she asks if he wants to do this. He feels this is the right decision. Victoria wishes him luck and kisses him.

Later Billy returns and tells Victoria how everything went with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She asks what’s next for him, but he says he wants to spend time with the kids before he thinks about his next move. The two decide to celebrate as Billy says that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is now going to be a happy man.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Traci’s progress

At the Abbott mansion, Traci updates Jack about the family book. She’s says it’ll be done in a few days, then she can start on another story. When she asks what Jack’s going to do once the memoir is complete, he says he doesn’t know. Traci responds she figured he’d go back to Jabot due to the drama with Billy and Kyle. Billy arrives and chats with Traci about the book before she has to leave.

Billy then talks with Jack about quitting Jabot. Jack thinks this is a ploy to get him to reduce Kyle’s role in the company. Billy says he had an epiphany and he doesn’t want to run the company. He tells Jack he thought his life’s calling was to one day run the company, but therapy helped him realize that wasn’t his dream. He says he’s not cut out to carry on the family legacy, and he needs to be himself. Jack is proud of Billy and feels he’s making the right choice.

Later when Traci returns, he tells her about Billy’s decision, and she agrees it’s the right decision. Jack then receives a text about Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) accepting Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) job offer. Traci asks what Jack plans to do with these latest obstacles.
