The Young and the Restless promo for August 12th thru 16th indicate that it’s going to be a big week for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) as they prepare for their upcoming nuptials.

Kyle and Lola’s wedding is going to be a big celebration for the Rosales and Abbott family. One person who makes it to Genoa City for the big day is Kyle’s aunt Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).

Ashley’s return is a momentous occasion for The Abbotts. Last year, Ashley and her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) had a bitter rivalry, which resulted in Ashley moving to Paris. However, the pair recently made up and put their differences in the past.

To celebrate Kyle’s wedding, Jack gathers the clan at the Abbott mansion to make a toast celebrating family and a happy future for everyone.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Pre-wedding jitters

With the wedding just days away, both Kyle and Lola are experiencing pre-wedding jitters.  Lola is upset that her mother Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) won’t be at the wedding. Despite attempts to convince her mother to come back to Genoa City, Celeste refuses to budge in her decision.

During a meeting with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), Lola admits her fears about the wedding. She feels that all the drama that’s happened is an omen that more chaos is on the way and that her wedding day is doomed.

Meanwhile, Kyle is concerned over Theo Vanderway (Tyler Kohnson) spilling his secret about the incident in New York. During a discussion with Ashley and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), says that he’s scared to death and he doesn’t know if he can go through with the wedding.  Despite the jitters, Kyle and Lola profess their love for each other, and Kyle says nothing can stop them.

The big day finally arrives as family and friends gather to celebrate Kyle and Lola’s love.  Kyle is standing at the altar watching as his beautiful bride enters the room. Lola is smiling as she is escorted down the aisle by her brother Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

As Kyle and Lola prepare to say their vows, it appears that everything is going smoothly and they’ll get their happy ending.  However, soap weddings aren’t without drama and there’s bound to be an interruption at Kyle and Lola’s ceremony. The question is who will cause the chaos.

Theo has been taunting Kyle about his past in New York. He could crash the ceremony and reveal his friend’s secret.  Or it could be Summer causing a scene again. She’s still bitter about Kyle divorcing her after donating part of her liver to Lola. Even though she’s angry, deep down she still loves Kyle and wishes they could be together. Perhaps she makes one last plea at the wedding to convince Kyle not to marry Lola.

Kyle and Lola’s wedding is being touted as a big event, but the question is whether they’ll say “I do” or if something causes them to call off the wedding.
