Young And The Restless Spoilers: Where Is Sharon Newman – Can Aunt Jordan Be Blamed For Her Absence?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that there is a genuine concern over Sharon Newman and actress Sharon Case. As a staple in Genoa City, viewers are always used to seeing her on the show regularly; they are also used to her having a proper romance and storyline.

Sharon has neither right now, taking a backburner in the land of GC lately, and Y&R audiences have been loud about it on social media; however, what about the other characters on the show that haven’t taken center stage as of late?

Y&R spoilers suggest that Sharon is very popular with the show’s fan base, so it makes sense as to why everyone is genuinely worried about why both the actress and the character aren’t seen as much.

With that being said, other than some very rare hospital-related scenes, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) has been MIA for a while. Seriously, can someone send a search party out for her?

She hasn’t had a storyline of her own, or even been involved in someone else’s story since Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) dumped her for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Meanwhile, fans see a bit of Teriah, here and there, but considering how the show dropped the ball on their adoption storyline, as well as Aria Porter-Copeland’s (Maddie and Millie Ingle) hearing issues (only offering one-dimensional storytelling rather than getting into the nitty gritty of it all), viewers should also be a little outraged that there isn’t more Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tess Porter (Cait Fairbanks) scenes.

Then, there is Sharon’s other half, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Sure, he’s possibly had a few more scenes than Sharon, but for the most part, he’s had no storyline or love interest since he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) broke up.

Y&R Spoilers – Is Aunt Jordan To Blame?

Nick’s had a few scenes up on Sharon, thanks to Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Since the villainess entered the GC equation in November 2023, Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) aunt has stolen the show.

Viewers love to hate her, and while plot twists are getting dry with this character (how many times can she slip through the authorities’ hands, right), Zenk is a pleasure to watch on screen.

But, let’s face it. The Newmans and Aunt Jordan are monopolizing screen time, so is this why fans Sharon’s taking a backseat on the show? There are only so many minutes in a soap to cover all the drama!

      Y&R is just like B&B focus on everything except business and fashion for B&B. Sharon, Elena, Chole, and Kevin are missing even Ester. Sally has been on more than they have, she can never and need never be seen.

      I agree some of our main character”s are hardly seen lately. But alot of the newbies are.I know things sometimes change but these storylines go on for months is why we wonder where our favorites are. And most storylines are good but some are boring. They own but company”s but are not seen working in them anymore. Most are at a club or some hotel suite. That is a no. What happened to Sharon”s new company? Nick needs to go back and help her and Mariah. He would be better off helping her and see their new progress they are making to get back to running like a normal company. Harrison so young him and Conner to go through the things they have been through just like Faith did. The kids are the future of the show. Bring Sharon ,Elena,Chloe Even Kevin back. Send Nikki to rehab we need her back, Chelsa and Adam working together for Conner. Lily back with Billy. Help Ashley, and put Nick back with Sharon she needs him.
