The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) recent point to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) also applies to herself. Just as it is true that Sharon isn’t responsible for Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) actions, neither is Chelsea.
Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) behavior has been bad within the last few weeks. It’s not surprising that an elementary school-aged child wouldn’t know how to deal with three deaths in a period of months, only one of which was real.
Calvin Boudreau (John Burke) actually died. Adam was never dead and was found alive in Las Vegas, Nevada. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was playing dead and revealed himself as still being with the living. No wonder, Connor’s head is messed up.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Offers Diagnosis To Son
Prior to leaving Genoa City, Wisconsin, Adam provided Connor with a self-diagnosis. Using the excuse that he was “messed up”, Adam told his son that he was leaving town and wouldn’t return.
Connor was originally elated because he’d recently learned that his father hadn’t died, which followed his stepfather’s (Calvin) actual death. Any little boy would ride roller coaster emotions if said dad, Adam, then suddenly said he was leaving forever.
Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Newman Applies Experience
Chelsea was leery of coming back to town and then in reconnected Adam with his son. Her gut instinct wasn’t some mysterious, subjective issue. Instead, Chelsea’s intuition, which is true within all other Y&R characters, merely represents lived history applied to present day circumstances.
Experience with Adam scars people, making them leery of what he’ll do next. Sure enough, Adam lived down to his reputation, causing mayhem and then psychologically harming Connor through selfish actions and rash decisions.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman’s Positive Presence
As Sharon has said, she’s not a licensed therapist. But the connection she has with Connor and the conversations she’s having with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), that are being passed along, are helpful.
Connor probably won’t settle down for awhile. Until his father returns to GC, which he eventually will do, Mackey’s character will act like Adam, who often behaves like a child himself. Also unable to handle his emotions, with the noted difference being that Adam is approximately thirty.
