Y&R spoilers suggest that Katie and Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) just returned to Genoa City, so they have yet to meet Cole. They’ll likely run into Vicky’s ex at some point, as Claire lives with them now at the tack house, but will Katie pick up on the chemistry between him and her mom?
Vicky and Cole recently went out on a date, before her kids returned from boarding school. As Victoria will be focused on reconnecting with Katie and Johnny and helping her youngest daughter transition into her new reality, she may not have time for romance.
Vic’s top priority is her children right now. Cole will understand, but this doesn’t mean that they can’t meet up for a coffee, lunch, or dinner, here and there, right?

Katie will eventually meet Cole at some point. But what if she catches her mom and Cole on a date or in a lip-lock?
It’s been a very long time since Vicky and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) were together, so it’s unlikely that Katie yearns for a reunion with her parents; however, considering her disdain for Claire, she won’t want to see her mom end up with Claire’s dad.

Cole’s really sweet, so he’ll understand where the tween is coming from (and that she’s just a kid) but could Katie’s rejection of both Claire and Cole have Vicky placing a halt on her Vole romance; just until her youngest daughter adjusts to this “new normal”?

Way does there always have to be a rude, spoiled, entitled brat on these soaps? It’s not entertaining and it’s deffinately not what I tune in to watch Y&R for.
