‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Winters’ Family Deals With Trauma – Lane’s Revival Possible

Buzz indicates that Lily (Christel Khalil) will seek a divorce from Cane (Daniel Goddard) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. However, fans know that a late-April storyline will also be centered upon a Winters’ family trauma that overrides all other issues.

Y&R will present two tributes to Kristoff St. John (Neil) at the end of April. The actor’s unexpected passing on February 4, due to heart disease, will be addressed with a special interview show and also with two episodes where the characters in Genoa City will honor Neil’s life.

In addition, of course, to St. John’s family members and friends, it certainly has and will continue to be challenging for those who worked with the actor at Y&R. Choosing to recall the many high points in the life of a person who passed away at a young age is a proactive approach to handling grief.

Allowing those who knew Neil to express their emotions within the fictional Wisconsin setting will allow the actors, crew, and audience to continue the healing process.

Lily was revealed as Dru (Victoria Rowell) and Malcolm’s (Shemar Moore) child many years ago. Nevertheless, Neil never stopped thinking of Lily as his daughter. He was and remained the central father figure in her life.

The latest marital troubles ‘Lane’ is experiencing are rooted in a few-week period where Cane and Vickie (Amelia Heinle) shared some impulse moments. Never more than perceived comfort during a stressful period in each person’s life, Billy’s (Jason Thompson) tell to Vickie about what happened naturally provoked Lily’s emotions.

Being imprisoned since last year, Mrs. Ashby is scheduled to remain behind bars until September. Khalil’s voluntary move to recurring status caused Lily to be written away from GC. Resulting tension with Cane was likely a vehicle to create a storyline for ‘Lane’ in the recent past.

The coming episodes that will address Neil’s life will hopefully afford a path to restored happiness, rather than divorce, for one of Y&R’s well-liked couples. Forgiveness fits with healing and would be uplifting.

Well, if they do get back together Lily won’t be the same person she once was before going to jail , the dynamic’s of the marriage will have changed. The trust issue will be huge . Poor little Sam needs some one besides a nanny ….

I do like the 2 as a couple but it would be best for them to move on from one another. They can’t stay faithfull to eachother and there just to much damage done in the marriage.

Yes. They should be back together

Put Nate and Lily together. Send Cane to China where he meets up with Juliet’s twin sister. Then they can raise Sam together.

No, but I don’t want to see Cane with Victoria either, would rather see Cane gone for helping J.T. or any reason, just gone.
