The Young And The Restless star Eileen Davidson believes in the benefits of giving back to her community. And recently, the actress volunteered for an organization called Project Angel Food. But Eileen enjoyed some very special company.

The Young And The Restless star Eileen Davidson didn’t share her kindness on social media. But instead, the star quietly spent her time away from the soap opera set helping those in need. And the organization, Project Angel Food, shared Eileen’s generosity on its site.

Joined by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Project Angel Food CEO Richard Ayoub thanked all the celebrity volunteers like Eileen for their help. And Days Of Our Lives alum Lisa Rinna teamed up with her husband Harry Hamlin to contribute as well. In all, the volunteers and staff prepared and delivered 7,400 meals on Thanksgiving Day. The celebrities focused on helping individuals in need throughout Los Angeles. 

“Mayor Eric Garcetti epitomizes what it is to be part of a community and lift one another through compassion and service,” shared the Project Angel Food CEO. In addition to Eileen and Lisa, celebrities contributing included Cheyenne Jackson and Jason Landau, American Idol fan fave Ava Maybee, and Melissa Rivers. And other celebrities ranged from Avatar: Way of Water star to Olympian Tai Babilonia.

Y&R Spoilers – Lisa Rinna Boasts About Volunteering, Sparks Backlash

Days Of Our Lives alum Lisa Rinna turned to her Instagram to share her volunteer efforts. And she tagged her Young And The Restless friend Eileen Davidson in her caption. However, the two also pulled down their masks in the photo showing their day of giving.

“This Crew!” began Rinna in her caption. “This Morning at @projectangelfood.” And the Days Of Our Lives alum tagged her husband Harry Hamlin as well as Eileen. “@eileendavidsonofficial @harryrhamlin 💙💙💙💙,” added Lisa. “#grateful #thankful #happythanksgivng.” 

However, not everyone felt impressed. For instance, several of Rinna’s followers slammed her for boasting about her work on social media. And others questioned why she limited her volunteer time. For example, one critic reacted, “U serve for a few hours annually. Then u go home tour mansion in Hollywood. Hilarious.” And the critic suggested that Rinna “sell ur mansion and give ur salaries to the needy for food and medical care. Not happening.”

Both Eileen and Lisa helped in delivering traditional Thanksgiving feasts to ailing individuals and their caregivers. Other contributions from volunteers included the Project Angel Food community partner PATH. And celebrities helped preparing feasts ranging from roasted turkey to pumpkin cheesecake. But the volunteers made sure to offer a vegetarian option as well.
