Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers August 5 – 9: Nick and Adam’s Angry Confrontation – Billy Tormented – Engagement Disaster

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9, 2019 reveal Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) defies Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and tells Christian that he is his father. The revelation causes a bigger rift between the brothers when Adam informs Nick he will not be allowed to see the young boy once he wins custody back. Nick will become increasingly angry, punching Adam; a fight Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) needs to break up. Sharon helps Adam and the two end up in bed together, having sex. How will this play out with Sharon and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), who are already feeling the effects of Adam’s connection to Sharon?

Y&R sources tease that the difficulties between Adam and his siblings continue when he is forced into the corner by his sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). How will Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) cope with all his children feuding with each other? Meanwhile, it seems Victoria may have her hands full while she forces Adam into the corner. Victoria is also dealing with Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) unstable mental health. Billy seeks professional help but is tormented at what happens at his sessions and what continues to haunt him in his dreams. Billy will be seen, later this week, rushing around the Chancellor manse, calling out after Delia.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have questions for Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson); someone she is very wary of. It appears she should be paying more attention to her daughter, Summer Newman (Hunter King) who is having quite a difficult time adjusting to life without Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will step up and host the engagement party for Kyle and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle); but drama will follow as Summer brings Theo as her date to the event; causing tension for Kyle. Lola plays peacemaker but may regret it as Theo continues to hint at Kyle’s wild days of past. Abby isn’t pleased with Summer’s choices and angrily confronts her during the engagement party. Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has been mesmerized by his long-time friend, Abby and after the confrontation that takes place, he can’t help but see his lady love in a completely different light.

In other Y&R spoilers, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will share a happy reunion with her mother, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) along with her and Adam’s son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) when the two arrive in Genoa City towards the end of this week. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is forced to take control as things get out of hand.
