Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Abby’s Business Plan Risky – Project At Risk With Devon’s Fragile Mood

Abby (Melissa Ordway) has a sharp plan forming on ‘Young and the Restless’. Her prime real estate purchase, all-demo restaurant, and the inclusion of Lola (Sasha Calle) all bode well. Including Devon (Bryton James) in the mix, well, that might prove to be a problem.

This week’s interaction with Cane (Daniel Goddard) proved interesting. While it looked like Devon was clean, he certainly hasn’t demonstrated that all is right.

Y&R Spoilers – Losing Hilary Set Devon Back

Losing Hilary (Mishael Morgan) set Devon back, infinitely. That is totally understandable considering that Mr. Hamilton lost his wife and what would have been their first child in the horrific crash that also put his sister Lily (Christel Khalil) in jail.

Thankfully, Devon relented to Ana (Loren Lott) and Nate’s (Brooks Darnell) pleading. He met with a psychologist and began taking a time-limited prescription. However, this good start doesn’t mean he’s off the emotional cliff.

Young and The Restless Spoilers – Abby Is Victor’s Daughter

Abby is an entrepreneur. She loves being part of Dark Horse but wants to stake her own claim. That makes Miss Newman her mother and father’s daughter.

It’s natural to be seeking Devon’s input. Most importantly, he’s a trusted friend. Secondly, he’s become an accomplished businessman, as his Grand Dame grandmother (played by the late, great, forever missed Jeanne Cooper), had intended.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and now, Devon, have advised Abby to pursue her dreams but to be cautious. Abby is forging ahead, which includes having Lola attempt to impress Devon with her unique foodie flair.

Y&R Will Devon Behave Recklessly

Devon’s personal demons aren’t evident and might be coming under full control. Then again, he could still be cavorting with shady characters, outside of his loved one’s watch, and behaving recklessly. The unwanted second option could easily prove disastrous for Abby if Devon becomes her business partner.

It’s not that Abby will lose her fortune, or that her career will be ruined by attempting to open a new restaurant in a soon-to-be happening part of town. Instead, her specific business plan could be doomed due to Devon’s as yet unresolved issues impacting Abby’s efforts. Here’s hoping everything works out for all who look to be involved in Genoa City’s next hoped-for hot spot.
