Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is proceeding with an incredibly foolish plan on ‘The Young and the Restless’. His double-dose scheme is intended to neutralize Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), while also distracting the other members of his family. On that account Adam is succeeding.
But as Y&R fans are witnessing, Victor is nearly debilitated by the brutal side effects that the unknown increase in his medication is causing. Adam has no way of knowing the damage his actions are creating for Victor won’t lead to some terrible consequence happening that can’t be reversed. Anything, up through an including a life-threatening outcome could result if this deeply dangerous situation continues.
Young & The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Was Behind The Wheel
Adam fully convinced himself that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was not at fault when considering a list of potential suspects. Grossman’s character couldn’t see who was behind the wheel of the vehicle that intentionally targeted him on Route 7.
For all Adam knows, a reckless driver, or one who was under the influence, nearly ran him down at the exact spot where Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) died. But he’s chosen to believe that Victor paid someone to try and end his life.
Among the many knee-jerk decisions that the adult edition of Adam has made while living in Genoa City, Wisconsin, dating back to 2008, this ranks with the most boneheaded.
Y&R Spoilers – Misguided Tell To Phyllis Summers
Along with all of the above, Adam believes that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) isn’t a threat to him. Y&R has Stafford’s legacy character appearing to play the useful foil, but she’s likely more than that.
Phyllis was told that Victor was behind the hit-and-run. Viewers knew at that moment Adam was off-base and that Phyllis gained greater leverage over Victor’s youngest son.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is Victor’s first-born son. Phyllis recently smoothed over feelings with her former husband, who’s also the father of their daughter, Summer Newman (Hunter King). The Dark Horse deal was something Nick appreciated, which Phyllis valued. However, she told Adam otherwise.
Stafford’s alter ego has openly stated to various people that she doesn’t want to help Adam, but also told him that she’s on board with getting the Newman’s. Then, she recently contradicted her statement when asking Adam to drop all vendettas if he loses a personal bet they’re waging.
Adam can’t possibly trust Phyllis to keep any secret he’s told her. He’s calculating that the information he’s shared with Phyllis wont’ hurt him in the least.
Young & The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman’s Goals Are Fleeting
Part of Adam’s mystique is being unpredictable. As devoted fans have seen, he goes off-book when it comes to long-term planning.
With whatever his fluid revenge plans, Adam has recklessly endangered his father’s life. That plot point will surely become known by Victor and the others in the near future, with fierce responses following.

Noooo
Why was victor killed off so suddenly, I dont get it, and Victoria phone died at the wrong time, why, and what’s,Billy problem (boring). I want to know what Adam would tell his son about his grandfather death.
Victor is not dead and Nate is in on it they know Adam tampered with his meds and their setting Adam up.
Way to go Victor ,
I hate Adam’s character.
I don’t believe Victor is dead either! This all part of Victor’s plan to take down Adam and teach him a lesson!
got to wonder how many more people are going to come back from the dead. they are running that into the ground…..
Why are the writers so intent on making Adam so evil I hate what they are doing why bother to bring back the character if you’re going to wreak the character please get new writers these are horrible.
Nope the great man is not dead, its a set up for Adam and I can’t wait till he finds out
his old daddy=o has nothing to do with running him down at Route 7 and wonder
what he will do once he finds out it was Killer Billy all this time and hope he makes
amends with old Victor but that’s too far gone now its too much hatred with his so
called siblings and its not going to change it will keep on till he is killed off or leaves
Genoa City that’s what all the fan’s wants but I don’t. I want him to stay and fight till
his last breath and his got to think about his son’s Christian and Connor.
Billy has a split personality!
why would Adam want to take down the company, when it could have been handed to him on a silver platter?
