Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) is moving back to Miami, Florida, on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) has moved out of Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) house and maybe her life forever.

The upheaval in the Rosales family may impact Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) upcoming wedding to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). But the planned ‘Kola’ nuptials might be just one of the major events that takes place in the near future.

Sharon now has a green light to return to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) if she chooses to. Rey cares for her, but now refuses to tolerate the choice she’s made.

As for Lola, she and Celeste butted heads a bit. But LaRue’s character was merely exhibiting maternal instincts, as Lola came to see.

It’s natural for Celeste to have wanted to get to know Kyle, as he’s marrying her only daughter and has a troubling past. However, the negative impressions Celeste had about him have been allayed. So LaRue’s just-introduced character recently said she’s going back to Miami.

Rey’s personal and business life have been mixed. He tried to revive his marriage to Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez), but she wronged him again and they’ve gone their separate ways. She returned to Florida with Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela), who is the father of her expectant baby. Celeste says that she needs to be there for the birth of her first grandchild.

Moving onto Sharon was organic, as she and Rey were drawn to each other from the start. But ‘Ria’s’ existence caused both of them to withhold acting on impulse.

However, even though they’ve now realized a meaningful, though short, relationship, ‘Shey’s’ apparently split up. It just happened, with Rey moving out of the cottage. Sharon’s constant draw to Adam was just too much.

It appears as though the tease is for LaRue to have been briefly introduced to the audience, with Celeste’s mention of Adrian Rosales (with casting as yet unknown), and then to have this reunited wife and husband duo return together to GC.

Rey and Lola were stunned to learn that their parents were back together. Their two Wisconsin-based children are deeply opposed to Celeste being with their father. But it must be acknowledged that Celeste and Adrian love each other on some level, as they’ve never divorced.

The emotional wounds Adrian created within his family have never healed, but Celeste has forgiven him. An attempt at full redemption, likely taking place during the time of the ‘Kola’ wedding is projected.
