Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Phyllis and Adam Romance Begins – Shocking Couple Rocks Genoa City

Phyllis Summers (as currently played by Gina Tognoni) is linking herself to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. With the coming revert to Michelle Stafford, Y&R fans are considering the implications of ‘Phadam’ in Genoa City. Yes, Phyllis and Adam as a romantic pair!

It would have been totally outrageous to think that either Tognoni or Stafford’s versions of this character would have ever been with any of the past Adam’s. But Grossman’s character was reverse ‘SORAS’d’ and already different than his past iterations. So, this extra step would be in keeping with what’s already being projected.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Will ‘Phadam’ Happen

Everyone in GC and many within the audience would be flabbergasted if Phyllis and Adam become a couple. Yes, that is a great reason for the writers to make ‘Phadam’ happen.

Adam wants to reunite with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), or whatever her new last name is. But her current marriage will initially prevent that hoped-for reunion from happening, even if it eventually does.

This younger version of Adam also likes Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), or maybe he still loves her? That’s hard to tell. But his undefined feelings appear blocked from progressing in any direct line due to Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) presence in Sharon’s life. ‘Shey’ is real and isn’t going away, at least right now.

Meanwhile, Phyllis pushed Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) away. He and Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) are hot and heavy, with a ‘Villy’ ceremony in the works. That means a ‘Philly’ sequel isn’t happening.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) isn’t option for Phyllis either, as she’s wronged him personally and in business various times. So with that and his brother not an option, why not pair the transforming Phyllis with Grossman’s character?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam And Phyllis’ Car Accident

Adam and Phyllis are involved in a minor car accident and then agree to an alliance. The jump from that to personal sparks, which would serve to irk everyone in their circles, might just prove too tantalizing for both trouble-makers to pass up.

‘Phadam’s’ possibilities can’t be discounted, as that alone would fuel Stafford’s approaching revival all the more tantalizing. The thought of the original Phyllis and this edition of Adam running roughshod together in Wisconsin should be too good to pass up.
