Rey has been taken with Sharon since he first saw her at Crimson Lights, which is one of Y&R’s enduring settings. It’s the location that ‘Shick’ once owned, with Sharon now being the coffee shop’s sole proprietor.

Now, with unknown liquid enhancements fueling the opening of The Grand Phoenix, Rey revisits his feelings For Sharon.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman Didn’t End ‘Shey’

As devoted viewers recall, Sharon didn’t leave Rey this summer on Y&R. Instead, Rey opted to end their relationship. He felt that she was being reckless by involving herself with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Sharon never denied that she has a connection to Adam, but believed that it wouldn’t impact her feelings for Rey. Vilasuso’s character was heavily influenced by the multiple betrayals Mia Rosales (Naomi Gonzalez) committed against him, including forming a family with Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela).

However, fans noticed that Rey and Sharon have remained more than civil with each other. There’s no hostility and neither person gained a significant other in the period since the break up. Those factors indicated that a revival was possible, or even likely.

Y&R Spoilers – Grand Phoenix Blur

Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle), and others have been prepping Genoa City, Wisconsin’s, newest hotel for its grand opening. Beneath the rooms, apparently on the ground floor, is a Society-like area for the perceived jet set to mix and mingle.

As part of the hotel’s modern publicity campaign, Theo Underway (Tyler Johnson) included Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow). She’s the new character who Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) would like to see disappear, as Zoe downed too many hard drinks during a long ago New York night. Lola still isn’t aware of that incident and Kyle prefers his new wife remains in the dark.

Zoe has been trying to fit in to the GC scene, but is a bit younger than the gathered crowd. Her efforts haven’t advanced and recently included overheard conversations that demeaned her. Zoe’s response includes spiking Grand Sangria drinks.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Rey Rosales’s Feelings Revived

There’s no real reason for Sharon and Rey to be apart right now. Adam isn’t an actual threat because Sharon knows he’s still in love with Chelsea.

While their revival wouldn’t have been planned in this manner, ‘Shey’ fans are hoping that these characters are being written back together. Rey is a good influence on Sharon. He can help her to maintain stability and be a dependable man in her life.

As for Sharon, she’s had her trials through the years. But at this point in her daytime existence, she can be the type of woman and potential spouse Rey needs to balance his world.
