Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Rosales Family Grows – Rey And Lola’s Dad Arrives Before Wedding?

Two recent subtractions and one addition to the Rosales family on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Based on what Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) said to each other, it now appears as though the loathed patriarch will expand Genoa City, Wisconsin’s, newest family by one.
Why mention Celeste’s ex-husband, who is also the father of the two remaining GC residents, Rey and the engaged Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), unless this character will soon be written into the show?
Y&R fans took note when Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) and Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) were written back to Miami, Florida. Savvy viewers knew that a decision was made to adjust this still-new family, with both solid actors departing their roles.

In effect, assuming that Celeste’s former husband comes to Lola’s wedding, this former couple will have been swapped for Arturo and Mia. That’s an interesting choice, but could also make viewers wonder if ‘Marturo’ might be primed to revisit for Lola’s nuptials, or will return at some point in the not-too-distant future? The birth of their child, who is expected by the approximate end of this year, would seem a good calendar point to go beyond a dialogue mention.
LaRue is a longtime daytime veteran who has easily fit into the cast. She’s a terrific actor, whose natural stage presence projects her as a permanent player on this show.

Considering that Wendy Benson Landes (Mallory) just told Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) she’s moving to be with her children, following her father’s death, Celeste’s next pairing seems obvious. A match with Jack was telegraphed when Celeste complemented Jack’s blue eyes during the meet and greet at the Abbott family home. ‘Jeleste’ would then establish another rival for Jack, with that person being her ex-husband.

Rey clearly has issues with his father. Viewers have now learned that the eldest Rosales’ male cheated on Celeste, which caused her to kick him out of their home in the distant past. In recent years he’s apparently been in contact with Celeste, sometimes requesting money. However, his desire to walk Lola down the aisle at the upcoming ‘Kola’ wedding sets up what feels like Y&R’s next character offering.

Lola clown lips came to the soap as miss goody goody now she is engaged to a married man and became a slut, sleeping with him every 5 minutes.

Well, the Rosales are growing again in GC. Well, well, well, the old man is coming to Town. My, my. my oh what a happen day for the Rosales to have their father in Town. Lola should be over the moon to have her father there to walk her down the aisle with some elses husband. Now, you know one thing i can say about Summer, she was a woman of her word and Kyle not a man of his word. He just used my girl to save Lola’s life and thats something the mother needs to know about. You know Jack even turned on Summer because Kyle wanted Lola. He should have stood up for Summer, nooo, instead he turned on her after what she did for miss so call goody two shoes who turned out to be no better than anyone else. She dropped them drawers like a hot potatoe. And you talk about being a virgin, I think not. All she wanted was a married man and kyle was it. If Summer had not donated half her liver she would have been a gonna, she don’t appreciate what Summer did for her nor do Kyle, and I don’t like either one of them. Cut their air time, they don’t need that and let Victor have more. I perfer to see him anyday than to see them. They are not worth it and Lola wasn’t worth Summers liver. Give it back’
” Mama ” Celeste is already getting on my nerves , another one that can’t take no for an answer or take a hint ! I think she needs money ( the Athletic Club is expensive , where is she getting it all from ? Most single women have to work, and just can’t take off for weeks at a time ) I hope she isn’t a gold digger and takes advantage of Jack when the time comes that would be heart braking for Jack to say the least . Who knows what ” Daddy ” is going to be like – he wants money also by the sounds of it . ( I just hope he don’t look as young as Rey when he hits town , like Celeste did the other day- they looked silly together in that role .)
I am officially putting an end to 30 + years of watching Y&R. It is so boring and predictable now. I really do not care about any of the story lines!

In reference to “clown lips”, Summer has the worse clown lips I’ve seen in a decade. they both stink! The soap is a tie with B&B, last place! Sooooooo Boring!
Where did this Adam come from? This storyline is weak………. Poor Nick can’t find his own woman. He’s just waiting around for sloppy seconds. Done… this soap is ZZZZZZ 🙁
eva larue looks young for 53 yrs jordi is like 38 so eva had them young i like having minorities on the show i don’t like all white bread ppl they should do a native american thing w/wanting 2 put building on a previous NA grave site would make it interesting and would add an NA family2
the writers do listen 2 us 4 example i told gh get a disabled person on the show they have a lawyer shilohs that has cerebral palsy i don’t know who they picked 2b lola’s dad yet but i don’t blame her 4 neva talking 2 him i have a friend who never talked 2 her dad again after realizing besides beating her as a child he raped her2 so lola is not wrong 2 tell her dad adios

I would like Papí Rosales to be portrayed by Vincent Irizarry. The SL doesn’t matter, but the actor and the chemistry does matter. I dislike the character of Lola and her paired with Kyle is totally boring and obnoxious. It would have been much better if they kept the character of Mia and had her go after Devon for his money. Mia was a better actress and could serve to make Devon more interesting. I’m hoping they get rid of Lola.
One thing that bugs me is that Lola would never be hired as a master chef when her only experience was running a sandwich truck before. That’s an insult to all those who study Cordon Blu cooking and work their way up to become Chef. Besides that Society looks like a hot mess and doesn’t have much of a restaurant area.
Would love to see a romance with Jack and Celeste. Come on and spice things up. Jack needs someone new. It’s time and Eva La Rue would be perfect!
When y&r introduced the Rosales’ wasn’t there a father or uncle who showed up in Genoa city that ended up in jail or am I getting my soaps mixed up? I enjoy the new storyline. The victor/jack storyline should be done away with.
