Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Sharon Gains Leverage Over Mia – Pairing With Rey Secured

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) told Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) the truth on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That should bode well for ‘Shey’s’ developing relationship, while also giving Sharon leverage over Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez).
Mia understandably played a power game in the past where Sharon was concerned. The Rosales’ were married and, according to Mia, were supposed to be expecting a baby. Mrs. Rosales didn’t know she actually was pregnant at the time, which she and others have since learned.
Sharon honestly wasn’t seeking a relationship with Rey until everything changed in the last few weeks. Current circumstances, now infinitely aided by Rey’s tell to Sharon about Mia’s mistaken identity attack on Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) at the Abbott mansion’s heated pool, have fully shifted the power structure.
When the Arturo Rosales’ (Jason Canela) news broke, meaning that he and Mia revisited ‘Marturo’ approximately three months ago, Rey decided that he was fully finished with Mia. While it hasn’t been confirmed via a paternity test, Mia believes that the baby is Arturo’s.
Y&R viewers also know that the show’s newest head writer, Josh Griffith, appears to have re-imagined history in this instance, as Arturo left ‘Ria’s’ apartment on the day in question. In an invented flashback, that plot point changed, with Arturo having gone back upstairs.
Devoted viewers know that Gonzalez recorded her final scenes earlier this week, which is shame as she is a solid actor, who projected a compelling new character. So, Mia’s days in Genoa City are about to end, though the audience doesn’t yet know how.
Sharon knows Mia’s criminal secret, which means that she has the capacity to keep Gonzalez’ character at bay, even if the baby proves to be Rey’s. However, it would seem to make the most sense to have Mia leave town with Arturo, as Canela (another good actor), is also being written out.

If Mia tries, in any way, to upend ‘Shey’, or threaten to expose Rey to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), Sharon now has the ability to stop her. Mia doesn’t want to face legal consequences, which makes her fully vulnerable.
It would seem that Mia’s best option is to head back to Miami, Florida. If Rey doesn’t do so, Sharon may be the one to insist that one-way plane ticket be purchased.

WOW Sean you must not read the comments the fans make on these pages. Stating that Mia and Arturo are ‘good actors’ and it’s too bad they are leaving the show sure doesn’t reflect how the fans feel. We have hated this family since they entered the picture and we can hardly wait until they are gone. Arturo and Rey look like thugs and Lola needs to grow up and Mia is just horrid. Get them all gone and quickly. I thought we had seen the end of Arturo and then back he came, Grrrrrr
Why do you put the Rosales family down, your speaking as if everyone wants the family gone I have commented before that bringing a Hispanic family to GC is great not everyone wants them gone, and yes they are very good actors….. We are to welcome new families to the American soaps no matter their race, creed or color…..
I don’t hate them because of their race or colour. Why must people always assume it’s about colour or race?? I get so tired of that. I just think they are terrible actors and those 2 men look like thugs. I used to like Lola but got tired of they way she was always ruining the good things Kyle wanted to do for her.
If you read other articles about the show and view the comments you will find that most others want them gone. They just don’t work on that show.
