The exclamatory sentence that ended the last paragraph was not offered in jest. Instead it begs a question that’s really testing the patience of Y&R’s most loyal fans. Why has this arc reached St. Valentine’s Day, 2019, with no seeming end in sight?
To be fair, sincere credit is offered to Young, as he and his team did craft a storyline that was initially compelling. The lingering issues, regarding who framed Victor (Eric Braeden) for J.T.’s murder, who has been tormenting the coverup crew, and who installed a surveillance system at the Newman Ranch do remain intriguing, as one, or more villains could be involved. But any answers sought are long in the daytime tooth.
It’s understood that Young departed the show recently, but that his name still appears first in the writing credits. This appears to mean that the storyline he’ll be remembered for will play out with his resolution. But all devoted fans of this iconic soap want a purposeful resolution that allows all connected characters to exit this arc with forward momentum.
In other words, let’s wrap this up. In so doing someone, or more than one person from the group that includes: Nikki, Vickie, Phyllis, Sharon, and possibly, Mariah, have to face some type of measured legal consequence for their varied actions. First among them wouldn’t be Nikki. Rather, let whoever has been targeting her and all others involved be prosecuted first.

Ten months is a long time, encompassing approximately 200 episodes, give or take a handful. The story was good, arguably went on too long, but still can be brought to a satisfying conclusion. Here’s hoping Y&R will soon answer the call for that to happen.
Fans of ‘The Young and the Restless’ rightfully express their opinions on a regular basis. So, will the J.T. storyline end this month, in March, or in the spring? And let’s not even entertain the idea about it bleeding into the summer. Please vote in our poll below!

The fans have been asking and begging for this storyline to end. I for one am sick of it. Don’t the writers care about what fans want and want to see. Guess not, since it has gone on wayyyy to long. I’ll ask or beg again ,please, please stop this J.T crap NOW.!!!!!
@jack – I know, the show turned a story that was supposed to be about domestic abuse, and turned it into “who killed JT”. 10 months is WAY TOO LONG!!! Finally, all the women, Sharon, Phyllis and Victoria were going to the police station.
I am sick of this storyline and All of Phyllis lies, she’s looking out for herself and what she wants. To hell with the rest of them that were involved. Or trying to help them out.
