Ashley Abbott, Traci Abbott And Abby Newman At The Ladies’ Table

At the Abbott estate, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) joins the gathering as Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) notes that Devon Winters (Bryton James) is handling childcare and skipping the wedding—a convenient escape from the reception.

Abby questions whether her mother harbors doubts.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) denies opposing the marriage, though she acknowledges the family’s turbulent history and everyone’s desire for Billy’s happiness, which Sally appears to provide.

However, Ashley expresses concern. If things fall apart, the family suffers, and Sally’s scheming past with the Forresters remains troubling.

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) assures Ashley she’ll adjust, pointing to her own presence as proof.

Ashley commits to staying positive despite the warning signs, trying to remain optimistic while still waving cautionary flags.

As Celebrating The Soaps previously reported, Ashley’s concerns about Sally were already surfacing ahead of the wedding.

Invincible Billy And Crashing Adam

At the GCAC, Pietro (Jai Rodriguez), dressed in pink, panics over Billy’s unpreparedness, but Billy assures him that his suit is pressed.

Pietro drags him downstairs to reveal the club’s transformation.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) arrive as Billy declares that he’s feeling invincible.

Then Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) meets Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in the ballroom, where Adam takes a jab at Billy.

Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and Cane arrive, surprised to see Adam.

Billy appears with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the kids, then rushes upstairs to change.

Michael, Lauren, and Victoria discuss the children and Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) absence from the wedding.

Victoria approaches Adam and questions his attendance. He credits Chelsea, and they turn their attention to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), noting how tense he’s been lately.

Cane Tries To Rig The Bouquet Toss

Cane pledges to keep Lily entertained and make each day enjoyable, and he follows through.

He also pulls Victoria aside and asks her to intentionally miss catching the bouquet to improve his chances.

Lily points out that they haven’t reached that part of the ceremony yet, highlighting how romance and wedding fraud go hand in hand!

Lauren and Michael discuss Sally, with Lauren noticing how much she’s grown.

Jack and Kyle exchange information about a stomach illness affecting a young Abbott family member at home.

Kyle then approaches Victoria, assumes they won’t meet tonight since the children have returned, and compliments her appearance at her ex’s wedding.

She wishes Billy success this time.

When the Abbott women arrive, Traci checks on Lily and Cane.

Cane thanks her for helping Lily open up to him and assures her that if Lily needs his support, she can count on him.

As Celebrating The Soaps recently explored, Cane’s romantic plans for Lily could take an unexpected turn during Billy and Sally’s wedding.

Coco Finishes Sally’s Makeup, Audra And Chelsea Bring The Dress

In her suite, Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) finishes Sally’s makeup.

“We’ve come a long way since our carny days,” Sally reflects, happier than ever.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Chelsea arrive with the dress, promising Sally will be the most beautiful bride.

They confirm her borrowed, blue, old, and new items, and Audra confiscates Sally’s phone—a practice bridal schools should adopt!

After clearing the room, Sally thanks Audra for her unwavering support.

While Chelsea and Coco have been wonderful, Audra has been exceptional.

Sally has never had a best friend before. She loves Audra and promises to always be there for her.

They embrace, and Audra reciprocates the affection, a remarkable shift for someone who quarreled with Chelsea over dessert just days earlier.

Billy Left A Note While Sally Was In The Bathroom

Sally slips into the bathroom while Billy leaves a note for his bride, telling Audra to hold it until she’s ready to come down.

Once he’s gone, Audra wonders if they should worry and check the contents.

Chelsea dismisses her concerns, convinced Billy is simply being romantic.

Audra’s real concern is that the note will upset the bride and smudge her makeup.

Sally emerges, and they give her the envelope.

Matt Wakes Up On Sharon’s Couch

At the cottage, Sharon and Nick find Matt still asleep on the couch.

Sharon has already contacted a clinic for him, and Nick plans to make sure he attends.

They wait for Matt to wake up to address the situation.

Nick regrets not ending this sooner, while both recognize Matt’s internal conflict and the presence of his better self.

Matt wakes, apologizes for the chaos, and admits he genuinely wanted to die until Sharon offered him hope for normalcy.

He requests admission to a safe facility but insists that Sharon become his therapist.

Nick calls this twisted, reminding Matt of his past terrorizing behavior, and demands that he leave.

As Soap Spoiler previously explored, Matt’s return to Genoa City raised serious concerns about whether his darker side would take over again.

Sharon Has Already Arranged Matt’s Admission

Sharon reveals that she’s arranged his admission and will decide afterward whether to help.

Matt warns that her refusal is a deal-breaker and walks away, repeating that it’s non-negotiable.

Nick protests, but Sharon asserts that she understands both her own judgment and Matt’s manipulation.

She believes healing is possible and could bring them all peace.

Nick considers it a terrible idea—a rare point no one disputes!

When Matt returns asking for a decision, Sharon agrees but cautions that she may be unable to help, and he must accept another therapist if needed.

He consents.

Annemarie’s Take

I think Ashley has every right to be cautious about Sally and Billy’s marriage, but at some point, the family needs to give them a chance.

Cane trying to rig the bouquet toss is pretty funny, especially when Lily hasn’t even agreed to marry him again!

But Sharon agreeing to help Matt? That’s the part that worries me. After everything he’s done, I wouldn’t trust him for a second. Nick may be the only one thinking clearly in that cottage!
