Billy Leaves For London

Billy struggles to leave Sally Spectra Abbott (Courtney Hope) and baby Ruby—a stark contrast to his usual dramatic exits.

Sally insists he go support his mother, playing the responsible adult.

When Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) arrives to meet his new niece, he eventually pulls Billy aside and convinces him that leaving is necessary to avoid future regrets.

The brothers reach an agreement remarkably fast.

Despite his hesitation, Billy departs with Sally’s reassurance that chaos will await his return—a fair assessment given their marriage.

Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) arrive for the airport run, offering built-in pep talks about Jill Abbott (most recently Lauren Koslow) during the drive.

As the previous Y&R recap detailed, Jill’s heart crisis came just as Billy and Sally welcomed Ruby.

Nick Meets Baby Ruby

After they depart, Nick Newman arrives to admire the newborn, offering what he considers the only fair assessment of her beauty.

He and Sally discuss Billy and Jill before Nick expresses curiosity about how strange it must have been for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to deliver the baby.

Sally acknowledges that Adam handled it well but frets over the emotions the experience may have awakened in him.

Nick concedes that understanding his brother remains impossible, then compliments how motherhood suits Sally.

She notes that he appears well, and he confirms he feels well.

Both recognize they’re entering uncharted territory.

Victor Talks To Nick About Family Happenings

At the ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) expresses pride in Nick’s accomplishments and welcomes him back warmly.

This genuine moment of paternal affection evaporates the instant Adam enters the room.

Victor immediately showers Adam with praise, calling him a hero and commending his abilities—an unprecedented two compliments in a single afternoon at the Newman residence.

Adam acknowledges that the day was grueling, and Victor assumes delivering the baby took an emotional toll.

Adam brushes it off and requests that everyone stop inquiring about it.

Yet his father predictably presses further.

Victor Brings Up Adam’s Loss Of A Child

Victor brings up Adam’s previous loss of a child, convinced the experience must have stirred up painful memories.

Adam concedes that it did, though he maintains the experience was remarkable.

Victor then questions how Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is processing these events, prompting Adam to become guarded.

His father references Adam’s complicated romantic history with both Chelsea and Sally.

Nick suggests Chelsea likely struggles with Adam’s tendency to compartmentalize emotions neatly, and Adam counters that Nick has been overindulging in therapy sessions.

He declares that he and Chelsea are delighted about everything and considers the matter closed.

Yet his abrupt exit from the conversation speaks volumes about just how “thrilled” he truly is.

Lauren Meets Phyllis At The Club

At the Athletic Club, Lauren meets Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and expresses concern about the timing of her trip.

Phyllis reassures her, noting that Lauren spoke with Snapper Foster (David Hasselhoff) that morning.

Jill has been cleared for surgery, and family members are gathering to support her.

Phyllis believes a new grandchild will motivate Jill to fight.

Though she and Jill clash, they share common ground, and she wants Jill to recover.

Their agreement underscores how critical the situation is.

Phyllis, ever business-minded, proposes Arabesque’s new slogan: “Make every moment count.”

She assures Lauren that she and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will manage operations during her absence.

When Michael arrives, Phyllis exits.

Michael tells Lauren that she and her sister are “tough old birds,” and Jill will soon resume bossing everyone around.

Kyle And Victoria Discuss Going To London Together

At Crimson Lights, Kyle meets Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and compliments her appearance.

They discuss their post-wedding celebration before he escorts her to the patio for a kiss—a bold move she’s shocked he’d attempt so publicly.

Kyle has always been one to take risks, especially near her father.

When he asks about London, they arrange for him to visit her there.

Victoria dismisses inviting him on the Newman jet as too risky, despite his interest in joining the mile-high club.

Kyle commits to finding a travel excuse, and Victoria anticipates a future where they can be open.

She has a business deal pending, he needs a cover story, and the airline industry remains unaware.

Kyle Plans A Trip

They kiss again and return inside, encountering Phyllis, who questions their togetherness.

They attribute it to the previous day’s events.

Phyllis takes credit for hosting at her club, mentions Billy’s London trip on the Abbott jet, promotes her Arabesque party, and urges them both to find dates.

Kyle and Victoria already have one—just not the kind for parties.

After Kyle departs, Victor joins Victoria to discuss her trip.

Then Billy, Michael, and Lauren arrive, and Victor offers condolences over Jill.

Billy notes the absence of Victor’s usual barbs.

They leave, and Victor reminds Victoria that they might all converge in London.

Victoria welcomes the prospect, knowing who else plans to meet her there.

Audra And Chelsea Talk

At Society, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) questions Chelsea about visiting Sally, Billy, and the baby with Adam.

Chelsea defends the visit, but Audra points out the complications.

Chelsea argues that Adam’s child is a positive thing worth celebrating.

Audra, skilled at spotting flaws in emotional moments, suggests they stop forcing friendship and return to their separate lives.

Though Chelsea views Audra as harsh, she respects her loyalty to Sally and wants them to be friends.

Chelsea regrets hurting Sally and Billy and finds Audra’s “weird” comment insensitive.

When Audra refuses to apologize, Chelsea asks her to stop rehashing past mistakes.

Adam Joins Chelsea And Audra, Then Phyllis Arrives

They order muffins—Genoa City’s solution to tense conversations.

Adam joins them, and Audra thanks him for supporting Sally.

He nods wisely, and then they toast to worry.

Adam admits their newfound friendship will take some adjustment.

Audra jokes about future godparent selection, predicting fierce competition.

Phyllis then appears, asking Adam about Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

He responds that everyone hopes never to see him again—a dangerous wish in Genoa City.

As Soap Opera Spy has explored, Adam’s experience delivering Sally’s baby could complicate his relationship with Chelsea.

Kyle Creates A Cover Story

At the Abbott estate, Kyle drops in to visit, and Jack presents him with a photograph of Ruby.

Kyle mentions that he must leave shortly to investigate a potential acquisition, which Jack finds surprisingly abrupt.

Kyle claims he’s curious to determine whether it lives up to the buzz.

Having managed a business for decades, Jack recognizes a flimsy cover story instantly.

After Jack leaves, Kyle sends Victoria a message confirming he’s prepared to depart.

The acquisition Kyle appears to be pursuing is simply the getaway he pledged to give her.

As Y&R’s latest spoilers teased, Victoria and Kyle’s dangerous plan could put their secret relationship at risk.

Annemarie’s Take

I feel sorry for Billy. He should be enjoying every moment with Sally and baby Ruby, but instead, he’s worrying about whether he’ll get to see his mother again.

I hope Jill pulls through and Billy finally gets the chance to make peace with her.

Adam’s reaction to delivering Sally’s baby is also interesting. I think he’s still carrying a lot of pain over losing Ava, and Victor bringing it up certainly didn’t make things easier.

Chelsea might have reason to worry if Adam starts getting too emotionally involved with Sally and Ruby.

And Kyle and Victoria are really pushing their luck! Kissing at Crimson Lights and planning a secret London getaway? Those two are practically begging to get caught.

Jack already seems suspicious of Kyle’s sudden business trip. I wonder how long it’ll take before someone figures out what’s really going on.

Do you think Kyle and Victoria will get caught in London, and could Adam’s feelings about Sally’s baby cause trouble with Chelsea?
