Billy And Sally Browse The Menu While Abby Asks Questions

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) browse the menu at Society together while Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) inquires about their upcoming wedding.

Sally keeps the wedding dress hidden from Billy’s view, leaving him puzzled about her secrecy.

Abby mentions hearing rumors that they’re postponing the gender reveal until after birth, but Billy’s reaction raises red flags.

Abby presses them, suspecting they’ve already discovered the baby’s sex. Billy and Sally clarify they haven’t officially learned the truth yet, though each harbors a distinct and conflicting hunch.

Abby Leaves, Cane Comes By

Disappointed by the lack of juicy details, Abby departs, and Billy and Sally engage in lighthearted banter about their opposing predictions.

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) strolls past their table, offering friendly greetings and a shoulder pat to Billy before heading straight to the bar without lingering.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) arrives and settles beside Cane at the bar, announcing she’s allowed him adequate time to reflect on her proposal.

Billy finds himself fixated on the pair across the room, prompting Sally to question his focus. Billy reveals that Phyllis had mentioned earlier that Cane might be considering a position at her company, Arabesque; Billy expresses astonishment that Cane would even entertain Phyllis’s proposition.

Phyllis Tells Cane About Her Vision

At the bar, Phyllis tells Cane her legal team has already prepared documentation to acquire his properties. Cane demands clarity on Phyllis’s intentions for these properties, though he signals his willingness to engage.

Cane proposes a preliminary agreement, contingent on substantial compensation and genuine transparency; he presses her to reveal whether she’s operating from a strategic blueprint or simply improvising.

Phyllis says she has an ambitious vision to transform everyone’s destiny in town. She urges Cane to align with her cause, warning him he underestimates her resolve and the lengths she’s willing to go to.

Phyllis’ Warning

Cane expresses his support, though she remains doubtful; after all, she drugged him and seized Newman Enterprises; he insists he’s moved past it and is in a better place now.

Phyllis cautions that she’s targeting everyone, including him, and intends to claim Chancellor for herself.

Cane welcomes the challenge, believing competition will strengthen them both-Abby rejoins Billy and Sally with a covered dish, drawing her into their baby-naming debate.

She unveils pink and blue frosted cupcakes as her contribution. Billy seizes on the idea, proposing Cupcake Abbott as a unisex name-if it’s a boy, it’ll echo “A Boy Named Sue” and toughen him up.

Lily Makes A Confession

As Nate escorts Stephanie out, he expresses regret about ending their evening early, though Stephanie reassures him they’ll have plenty of opportunities to continue their celebration.

Upon returning to Lily, Nate discovers she has troubling news: her cancer may have recurred-a recent scan revealed an enlarged pelvic lymph node, prompting a referral to an oncology specialist.

Awaiting results from additional tests, Lily is consumed with anxiety; she seeks Nate’s perspective on the situation.

Nate offers reassurance, suggesting the enlarged node could be a harmless cyst, and even if it’s something more serious, early detection is genuinely encouraging. Despite his comforting words, Lily remains deeply frightened.

Nate Asks  More Questions

Nate asks whether Lily has shared this with anyone else-she hasn’t; Nate believes that’s the right call-there’s no point discussing it when it might amount to nothing.

Lily regrets even telling Nate, though he reassures her-she feels guilty for disrupting his romantic dinner, but Nate points out that Stephanie, also a doctor, would understand.

He encourages Lily to open up about her concerns-she fears enduring cancer treatment again and the possibility of death.

Lily recalls Grace from her chemo support group, who rebuilt her life after recovery, only for her cancer to resurface, leading to her funeral last year.

Nate insists Lily possesses the strength to overcome a second cancer battle and pledges his unwavering support throughout.

Victoria Worries About Nick’s Reaction

At Newman Ranch, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) worries about Nick Newman’s (Josh Morrow) intense reaction. Adam and Nikki claim they couldn’t have handled Marie Kirkland’s (Jade Harlow) overdose differently, but Victoria argues they should have kept it from Nick; she’s furious.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tries to comfort her. Victoria regrets not opposing the decision to tell Nick, while Adam insists Nick would’ve discovered it anyway-unlikely, Victoria counters, since Marie isn’t famous. Adam suggests Marie might have told him herself.

Victor Demands They Stop Arguing

Victor demands they stop arguing and Victoria and Adam apologize. Victoria asks Adam just how close Nick is to Marie.

Adam says the police report from Marie’s first overdose at the motel states that she was found in Nick’s bed; Victoria doesn’t believe it. Adam thinks Nick is sure to blame himself.

He suggests that turning to drugs isn’t the only way Nick could get himself into trouble: he might be looking for payback. Victor suggests that Adam go find Nick and prevent him from doing anything bad.

Nick Wants To Know If The Drug Dealer Returned

Nick rushes to the counter and demands Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)  tell him if the dealer has returned-she says he hasn’t.

When Sharon asks what’s wrong, Nick explains he needs to find the dealer urgently; Sharon notes the dealer likely won’t come back after Nick threw him out.

Nick reveals Marie is hospitalized from an overdose-the dealer did contact her as claimed. Sharon learns Marie has no family; she fabricated that story, and urges Nick to contact police rather than pursue the dealer himself, warning it’s dangerous.

She suggests calling Jack or a rehab counselor instead-Nick refuses, insisting on removing his former dealer from the streets;  Sharon recognizes his intent to handle this personally and pleads with him to reconsider.

Nick Is Frustrated He Didn’t Do More For Marie

She reminds him he’s already been a positive influence on Marie’s life, but Nick remains frustrated he couldn’t do more. He regrets not arranging Marie’s travel and securing her next rehab placement.

He feels ashamed that he returned to his loving family while Marie had nothing and nobody waiting for her-Marie initially resented his intervention, claiming she’d prefer to be dead.

When Adam arrives, Nick is relieved, but becomes defensive when Adam expresses concern-he’s barely left the ranch and Adam’s already pursuing him.

Adam clarifies he simply wanted to check on him; Nick insists he’s fine, though Sharon disagrees.

Nick Gets Irritated And Tries To Leave

Nick grows irritated and tries to leave, with Sharon and Adam following; Sharon tells Adam that Nick is looking for Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell), his former drug dealer.

Adam presses for details about Nick’s intentions-Nick admits Joe supplied his drugs but denies wanting to use again.

Adam opposes the plan, and Nick questions whether Adam expects him to hide his intention to confront the dealer-Nick believes Adam would act similarly, but Adam refuses, knowing the consequences.

Nick demands they both back off and walks away; they pursue him anyway, and  Adam insists Nick isn’t thinking rationally.

Nick maintains he must resolve this independently because he cares about Marie and won’t allow her suffering to be meaningless.

Nikki Was Impressed With Adam

Victor, Nikki, and Victoria anxiously await Adam’s update on his search for Nick; Victoria fears the worst, frustrating Nikki, who is reminded by Victor that Nikki herself overcame addiction.

Victoria dreads losing Nick-after Victoria leaves, Nikki expresses concern about setting a poor example for Nick, but Victor counters that she demonstrated recovery instead.

Nikki acknowledges Adam’s crucial role in holding the family together, surprising herself with her gratitude.

Victor suggests Adam would appreciate hearing this and Nikki agrees to speak with him, but then worries Victoria was right about keeping Marie’s situation from Nick.

Victor argues Nick’s instinct to help others is valuable; Nikki responds that this time, Nick needs rescuing.

Lily Walks In On Phyllis And Cane Negotiating

Lily arrives to discover Phyllis and Cane negotiating a property deal-once Phyllis departs, Cane reveals he’s offloading the Athletic Club and an office building to her; assets he doesn’t value, offered at a reasonable price.

Lily voices doubts about Phyllis’s intentions. When Cane questions her unexpected Chicago trip, Lily dismisses it as routine business.

Cane notes Devon Winter’s (Bryton James)  satisfaction with his lack of awareness and observes Lily seems troubled, though she blames exhaustion. They share affection and reassurances about missing one another.

Billy And Sally Decide On Dylan For Their Baby’s Name, Victoria Can’t Find Kyle

At Billy and Sally’s table, they settle on Dylan as their baby’s name—a gender-neutral choice like Cupcake. Abby approves and expresses enthusiasm about getting to know Sally as an incoming family member. Sally shares the sentiment.

Elsewhere, Victoria uses her key to access Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) apartment. She calls out for him, and finding him absent, sits at his kitchen counter and allows herself to cry.
