Sharon Tries To Get The Truth About Matt Out Of Nick

At Crimson Lights, Sharon has thoroughly prepared herself; she’s reached out to every medical facility and hospital within reach, yet Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) isn’t registered at any of them.

So she confronts Nick, demanding he reveal the truth about what actually transpired. His response is that remaining uninformed would be better for her, and that Matt has disappeared from their world permanently.

Nick believed he and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) had successfully discouraged Sharon from pursuing Matt’s treatment; Sharon, however, views it as the most effective way to remove him from their lives permanently.

Nick reminds her of the suffering Matt caused her and her loved ones, and she responds that his presence no longer causes her distress.

Sharon Forces Nick To Come Clean

Nick strongly opposes the plan, considering it so misguided that he convinced Matt to accept it, enrolled him in an out-of-state facility, and secured his commitment to never contact them again.

Sharon questions whether Nick sent Matt away to some isolated place the way his father would have done.

Nick insists that’s the complete account, which is precisely how people describe stories that aren’t entirely truthful.

As Matt’s mysterious disappearance continues to raise questions, Sharon isn’t satisfied with Nick’s explanation.

The discussion then shifts away from Matt and centers on who holds decision-making power. Sharon is frustrated with the men around her making choices about what she’s capable of handling.

Nick And Sharon Continue To Bicker, Then Phyllis Barges In On Them

Nick and Matt both wish to protect her from further involvement, but Sharon rejects this decision as not theirs to make.

She resents being excluded from his treatment choices and accuses Nick of doubting her ability to recognize her own limits.

Nick understands her desire for involvement yet fears her reluctance to move past this situation.

Sharon notes she’s received only vague responses that don’t suggest someone seeking genuine help; Nick refuses to elaborate further when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) enters, demanding to know why they’re discussing Matt.

Having already given Phyllis a brief account of the clinic situation, she arrives with additional concerns.

Billy Encounters Kyle With Cane

In London, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) encounters Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at a local pub, immediately questioning his nephew’s unexpected presence.

Kyle explains he took a commercial flight to visit a friend, a vague explanation that naturally prompts further inquiry.

Billy doesn’t hold back with his questions, causing Kyle to become defensive and reveal his discomfort, much like a child caught sneaking cookies.

This defensiveness irritates Kyle, prompting Billy to remind him of his position on the Jabot board and demand clarity about the purpose of this meeting.

Cane, Billy And Kyle Keep Talking

Growing tired of the tension, Cane considers departing, but Billy intervenes to maintain harmony so the three can raise a glass together in honor of Jill Abbott (most recently portrayed by Lauren Koslow).

They exchange photos of Ruby before Billy casually mentions that Victoria happens to be in London for business as well.

The coincidence feels suspicious, and she seemed distant during their encounter.

After Kyle leaves, Billy and Cane continue their conversation over drinks; Billy expresses concern that something feels off about his nephew’s behavior and speculates whether Kyle might be orchestrating something that could jeopardize Vibrante.

As Billy grows suspicious of Victoria and Kyle’s secret romance, his concerns are growing increasingly justified.

Victoria’s Nightmare

Victoria attempts to rest on the couch in her London flat, yet Kyle dominates her thoughts.

Upon his arrival, she confesses the bed felt too vacant, and her imagination spirals into a scenario where Billy interrupts at the most inopportune instant.

Lit candles become visible; inquiries emerge: How frequently has this occurred, and what will her relatives think?

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), needless to say, would be devastated.

Kyle blames Victoria for the situation, Billy tells his former partner that misfortune has a cruel nature, and Victoria insists everything was a terrible mistake.

Victoria Wakes Up And Kyle Arrives For Real

Then consciousness returns; it was merely a dream, and her unconscious mind clearly possesses superior judgment to her waking self.

Kyle arrives in reality and fixes himself a drink; Victoria observes his obvious distress.

He reveals he encountered Cane and Billy, and his uncle appeared aware he harbors a secret.

Kyle proposes they avoid tempting destiny until they reach Paris, and Victoria concurs this is sensible. She recounts her nightmare to him, yet she refuses to pump the brakes.

She’s exhausted from being cautious and craves the excitement to persist.

“Paris awaits,” Kyle consents, and their passionate embrace continues.

Sally Is With Ruby When Adam Pays A Surprise Visit

At home, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) describes to baby Ruby the warm, welcoming household and boisterous relatives who are eager to meet her.

A doorbell ring announces Adam’s arrival. He’s brought by a bootie that both of them accidentally left at the café.

Their chat shifts to Ruby’s digestive issues, and Adam, displaying surprising skill at soothing babies, volunteers to help burp her.

Sally is uncertain, but he points out that he was there when Ruby was born.

After thoroughly cleaning his hands, he cradles Ruby, successfully burps her, and rocks her to sleep.

Sally is delighted by his competence, and he reveals he’s mastered all the techniques.

Sally Suggests Adam And Chelsea Work On Another Baby

Sally broaches the possibility of future parenthood for him and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) with Adam, who dismisses it, then asks about her family, noting the Abbotts’ attachment to Ruby.

As he exits, Sally confronts the recent tension between them, marked by uncomfortable silences.

Adam struggles to explain that their shared past keeps intruding, and Ruby’s presence has reopened wounds from losing their daughter and Sally.

As Adam’s growing bond with Ruby threatens to complicate Sally’s marriage, their shared history remains difficult to ignore.

Sally counters that Ruby offers a fresh beginning and urges him to embrace it and stay involved.

Adam agrees to participate in Ruby’s life as she and Billy decide, then leaves.

Annemarie’s Take

I don’t believe for a minute that Nick is telling Sharon everything about Matt! And Victoria’s nightmare should have been a wake-up call, but apparently she and Kyle aren’t ready to stop taking risks.

As for Adam, watching him with Ruby was sweet, but I can’t help wondering whether his growing attachment will create trouble for Sally and Billy.
