Adam Delivered Sally’s Baby
AMP in the post
Sally’s water breaks in her bridal suite, with contractions escalating too rapidly for hospital transport.
Adam, the only person present, tries to reach Billy but fails. Billy explicitly banned him from the wedding, and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) confiscated Sally’s phone as part of a no-phones policy.
With no working phone lines and his own device dying, Adam must deliver the baby himself, a task he’s performed twice before in Genoa City.
Sally reassures him this isn’t like their previous loss, and after she pushes, a daughter arrives.
Adam places the newborn in Sally’s arms, then retrieves Billy, who rushes in to meet his wife and child.

The man who refused to shake Adam’s hand at the reception now faces an unexpected debt of gratitude.
As Sally’s unexpected labor turned her wedding celebration upside down, Adam became the last person Billy expected to help deliver his daughter.
Billy Had Been On An Important Emergency Call
Before the birth, the party downstairs remains unaware as Billy takes an urgent call.
In the foyer, Billy and Cane speak with Snapper Foster (David Hasselhoff) and receive devastating news: Jill Abbott has suffered a heart attack.
Snapper questions whether she’ll survive the surgery.
Cane requests that the phone be held to Jill’s ear for a potential final goodbye, telling her they’re at the reception, it’s beautiful, they miss her, and she must rest and follow the doctors’ orders.
Everyone loves her. Billy’s eyes water.
When Adam calls, Billy declines, a choice he’ll later reconsider.
Billy Questions How This Could Happen?
Billy questions how this could happen to Jill.
Cane notes her years of health issues and suggests Billy’s distress stems from his inability to control the situation.
They may need to prepare for the worst. Cane plans to fly to London to be with her and urges Billy to join him.
Both recognize Jill might die before meeting her grandchild.
Billy feels lost. He missed saying goodbye to his dying father.
Though Cane calls his own father terrible, he was present at his death because he wanted the man to know he was loved.
Cane can sit at Jill’s bedside, but he isn’t her son. Billy must make this decision himself.
Billy believes Sally will know what to do. Sally, meanwhile, has much on her plate upstairs.
As Billy faces an agonizing choice between Jill and his growing family, the happiest day of his life is becoming one of the most painful.
Diane, Ashley, And Traci Admire The Cake And Chat
At the club, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) admire the cake while Diane expresses her love of weddings.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) mentions the appetizers are upstairs and assures them Pietro (Jai Rodriguez) won’t disappoint.
The conversation shifts to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally’s unexpected bond, then to an urgent question: Where are the newlyweds?
Ashley senses trouble brewing, as such events typically invite drama.
Then the other shoe drops—in the form of a baby bootie.
Billy Looks In Vain For Sally
Billy searches for his bride with no luck.
Jack pulls him aside, and Billy reveals Jill has suffered a heart attack and may not survive.
Audra directs Billy upstairs to his bride, but he’s intercepted. He mentions an urgent situation and rushes away.
Chelsea stops him, asking about Adam.
Billy notes Adam’s been calling repeatedly, which he’s ignored—a decision he’ll regret.
Jack informs his wife and sisters that Jill’s condition is critical.
Cane Pulls Lily Aside
Cane draws Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) into a private moment, and his distress is unmistakable even before he utters a syllable.
She immediately suspects Jill is the source and encourages him to rush to her side.
Yet Cane’s thoughts are consumed by an entirely different concern: Lily would need to face her medical examination results without his presence.
Lily reminds him that Jill desperately requires his support at this very moment.
Regardless of his actions, the test results will demand patience.
They embrace warmly, and Traci approaches to join them in their shared anxieties.
For two people who have weathered such profound challenges together, they continuously demonstrate that they are the most radiant presence at this entire celebration, surpassing even the elegance of the wedding cake.
Nick “Put Matt Away”
At the cottage, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) informs Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) that Nick brought Matt to the clinic.
Mariah is shocked Matt asked Sharon to serve as his therapist and relieved he didn’t end up at her own clinic—the week’s most sensible outcome.
They debate whether Matt genuinely seeks healing, with Sharon insisting he needs accountability.
She believes freedom requires Matt’s containment or reformation, and though Nick may resist, he must accept it.
Nick arrives, announcing Matt is “safely put away” after checking himself in voluntarily, calling it effortless.
Sharon plans to contact the staff, who remain skeptical of her involvement.
Both Mariah and Nick urge reconsideration. Sharon agrees to reflect on it as Mariah leaves.
With Matt’s disturbing behavior already raising concerns, Nick isn’t convinced Sharon should have anything more to do with him.
Nick Asks About His Next Move
Alone with Sharon, Nick asks about his next move.
He intends to check on Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow), but Sharon thinks his day has been taxing enough.
He mentions the assault charge from the dealer and the numerous lives Matt destroyed through dealing, then pleads with her to sever ties and move forward.
He believes she’s overestimating her capacity and acting self-destructively.
Sharon counters that he’s worrying about hypotheticals and wants to postpone the discussion.
Nick refuses.
He warns their son will be devastated to learn she’s helping Matt—a terrible decision.
Sharon grasps his argument without endorsing it.
Annemarie’s Take
I think Adam deserves some credit for stepping up when Sally needed him most. Whatever problems Billy has with Adam, he helped bring Billy’s daughter safely into the world!
Billy’s situation is heartbreaking, though. He should be celebrating his new baby, but instead, he’s terrified of losing Jill.
And I wouldn’t trust Matt for a second! Nick may believe he’s safely locked away, but I have a feeling Sharon hasn’t seen the last of his trouble.
Do you think Billy will thank Adam for delivering his daughter? And should Sharon stay away from Matt?
