- Billy catches Kyle off guard at a London pub

Victor And Phyllis Argue
Victor and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) encounter Phyllis at the Athletic Club, where she offers them drinks before their impending clash. Tension fills the room as everyone assesses one another.
Phyllis, who operates by her own rules like Victor, plans to target the top. She points out that Arabesque now occupies the building across from theirs.
Victor counters that flashy branding doesn’t equal business acumen. Nick questions whether she’s making another mistake by challenging them, with “yet” carrying significant weight.
Phyllis guards her trade secrets while Victor claims he already anticipates her moves.
She reveals her focus: real estate and hospitality, including a hotel opposite the Newmans’ target property.
Both Victor and Phyllis play to win and expect victory.

Phyllis And Nick Clash As Victor Takes A Call
As Victor steps away to answer a call, Phyllis and Nick clash. She expresses longing for their former closeness before his critical nature took over.
Nick pushes her toward pragmatism, warning that confronting the Newmans is a losing proposition. Those who stand against them inevitably fall.
Phyllis counters with her all-or-nothing philosophy.
He points out her recent victories: Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is back in her corner, and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is out of the picture, which should be considered substantial wins.
When Phyllis inquires about Matt’s well-being, Nick reveals he’s admitted himself to a treatment facility and has requested no visitors.

Phyllis Wants Matt Updates, Nick Says No, Then Daniel Arrives
Phyllis wants updates on his condition, but Nick insists she can’t assist him and should redirect her energy toward her existing relationships.
He departs just as Daniel arrives, asking his mother about the current emergency.
Frustrated by the constant skepticism surrounding her abilities, Phyllis feels besieged by doubt from all sides.
She’s convinced the Newmans are anxious about her moves, and that certainty fuels her determination.
She declares that Arabesque won’t merely defeat Newman; they’ll demolish them.
As Phyllis prepares for an explosive Arabesque relaunch, her rivalry with the Newmans could become even more intense.
For Daniel, who committed to a legitimate business venture, hearing the word “demolish” for the first time in an actual business context must feel like quite the adrenaline rush.

Sally And Ruby Are Welcomed By The Abbotts
At the Abbott mansion, the family extends a warm welcome to Sally and baby Ruby, assuring Sally that the house has become part of her family’s story.
They shower attention on the infant and inquire about Sally’s well-being, while Sally remains captivated by her daughter.
The ladies also speculate about how naturally Ruby will connect with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), a sentiment that goes unchallenged around the table.
Sally finds deep meaning in their presence in her life.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) affirms her place as family, alongside Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) and Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo).
Diane Extends Support, They Talk About Jill
Shirley, who once negotiated terms for Sally’s marriage, is now an Abbott family member by marriage, so the family has embraced her fully despite the unconventional circumstances.
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) pledges their unwavering support whenever Sally needs it, leaving Sally grateful for this unexpected blessing.
As the evening progresses over dinner, conversation shifts to the complicated dynamics with Jill Abbott (most recently played by Lauren Koslow).
Sally expresses her concern that she cannot provide Billy with the emotional support he requires, yet the family reassures her she’s making the right choice.
She worries about how the tension might weigh on her husband and what decisions he might ultimately make.
The table collectively hopes that Jill and Billy can find common ground, even if only temporarily.

Claire Puts Audra On Notice
At Society, Claire confronts Audra about the wedding and baby, then accuses her of extorting Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) over patents.
Audra dismisses it as business.
Audra retaliates by questioning Claire’s role in Holden Novak’s (Nathan Owens) departure, leading Claire to challenge her obsession with her love life.
Audra suggests Holden uses Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) as cover and implies their relationship has ended, claiming he deserves better.
Claire denies the breakup but reveals she’s discovered Audra’s LA secret, triggering Audra’s defensiveness as Claire seizes her takeout.
Recognizing Audra’s fear, Claire doubles down on sabotage. She demands payment for silence, orders Audra to leave her alone, and threatens exposure if Audra doesn’t comply.

Kyle Has Jet Lag And Insomnia, They Discuss Billy’s Near Discovery
In London, Victoria encounters Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at the window, struggling with jet lag and insomnia.
He proposes going out, but they instead kiss and discuss their narrow escape from Billy’s discovery, a close call that would typically prompt separate accommodations.
Victoria opts to stay in rather than get dressed, suggesting they exhaust themselves physically.
Kyle carries her to bed. After their encounter, they return for water.
Victoria needs rest before her early business meeting, her actual purpose for being in London.
Kyle, still restless, heads to a pub alone, where Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) quickly appears.
Kyle claims he’s visiting a friend en route to Paris.
Cane silently acknowledges the implausibility of a London friend with a balcony.
With Victoria and Kyle’s secret London romance threatening to unravel, another unexpected encounter could spell disaster for the couple.
Kyle And Cane Talk About Jill’s Illness And Its Effects On Billy
The two discuss the emotional toll of Jill’s illness on Billy, with Cane suggesting that Billy’s fear stems from the possibility of Jill’s recovery forcing them to confront their unresolved conflicts.
Kyle draws a parallel to his own experience with his mother, Diane. He had to accept her death, only to have her return, which complicated his ability to trust others.
Cane points out that Kyle has managed to move past this challenge.
Kyle acknowledges that while the journey was difficult, he’s grateful to have his mother back.

They Hope Billy And Jill Make Peace
They express hope that Billy and Jill might achieve reconciliation, though both recognize that overcoming their pride could prove challenging.
Cane shares wisdom from his own life, noting that his father was flawed but that they ultimately found closure, which transformed him into a better person.
He emphasizes how illness can serve as a catalyst for setting aside grievances.
The two raise their glasses in a toast to Billy and Jill finding peace and understanding.
Just then, Billy arrives and questions Kyle’s presence, creating an awkward moment where a simple explanation suddenly needs to become a convincing one.
As Victoria and Kyle’s secret affair continues to attract attention, Billy’s surprise arrival could be the beginning of their biggest problem yet.
Annemarie’s Take
Well, Phyllis certainly isn’t backing down from Victor, and I have to admit, I love watching these two go head-to-head! But I do wonder if she’s biting off more than she can chew.
And Claire threatening Audra? Now that’s a showdown I want to see more of! I also loved seeing Sally and baby Ruby welcomed into the Abbott family.
After everything Sally has been through, she deserves some happiness. But my favorite part has to be Kyle getting caught off guard by Billy in London.
Seriously, Kyle, did you think nobody from Genoa City would recognize you? I can’t wait to hear the excuse he comes up with!
