Key Takeaways
- Nikki’s headaches and blurred vision worsen, raising fears of a serious medical crisis.
- Claire may be forced to keep a troubling secret from Victor.
- Diane launches a risky long con to avoid being locked away and separated from Jack.
- Matt becomes increasingly uncomfortable carrying out Victor’s mission against Cane.
- Lauren Koslow debuts as the new Jill Abbott beginning June 25.
Nikki Newman’s Health
Let’s kick off this post with Nikki’s headaches and blurred vision. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has learned about the headaches, but she might be unaware of how bad the pain really is.
Nikki recently admitted that she was also having blurred vision. That really set off Victoria’s alarm bells. Next week, Nikki could make a confession to Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin).
Nikki might make Claire promise not to tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), so that could put the blonde in a moral dilemma.
Stephanie Simmons’ Face-Off
Over with Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox), she has accepted the chief of staff position at the hospital. While everyone is excited about Stephanie staying in town, that could pose a problem for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Stephanie and Audra did not have a good first interaction, and it will probably get worse.
Diane Jenkins Abbott’s Long Con
Now let’s talk about Diane, who is being held hostage by a creepy doctor.
Diane’s pleas fell on empty ears. So, now her mission is to stay in the house as long as possible. If Diane gets admitted to a psych ward, then she might never see Jack again.
Right now, Diane is trying to get the doctor to believe she wants to get better and stay in the house with him.
The man seems suspicious, but Diane might end up convincing him.
What Else to Expect
As for what else to expect, Matt is having a hard time doing Victor’s bidding. Matt was an evil man before, but he simply isn’t that guy anymore.
The reformed villain also feels bad for Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).I wonder if at some point, Matt might tell Cane the truth?
There is also a Jill Abbott (usually played by Jess Walton) recast. Lauren Koslow (Kate Roberts Brady, Days of Our Lives) will be stepping into the role.
The woman should share scenes with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and a pregnant Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Expect to see the Jill recast beginning on June 25, 2026.
