After talking to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Devon went to see Chance and Abby. Devon explained his attachment to Dominic and wanted more time with him. Devon asked for overnight visits and even suggested giving Dominic his own room. Devon also wanted the contract revised to reflect his wishes.

Abby figures that Devon just got too attached and compared the situation to what Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) went through. Abby thinks that if Devon backs away, then everything will be just fine.

That suggests that Abby and Chance are going to deny Devon’s proposition. In fact, if Chance and Abby think Devon is going through what Mariah did, then they might stop the visits altogether.

If this ends up going to court, most would assume that the original surrogacy agreement stands. However, there is a complication regarding some of Abby’s decisions. Abby left Dominic to go on a life-threatening search for her “dead” husband. Abby left the baby with Devon, not family. That could make a judge think twice about this whole situation.
