According to the Young and the Restless spoilers, fans are saying RIP to the Chancellor family. They claim that one of the core families is no longer on the daytime soap. One fan who goes by the name aussiegal87 shared her thoughts on the Soap Central forums.
“It appears they’re writing the Chancellor family off Y&R. RIP Chancellor 1973-2023,” she wrote. “I guess with Kay gone, and Jill never written into the stories anymore, they are ending the Chancellor family on this show.”
Y&R fans have feared this day would come. They noticed that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has been turned into a one-note character who has no storyline of his own. His only identity is tied to his profession as a cop.
Fans hoped that Phillip Chancellor (Thom Bierdz) would return for the 50th anniversary of The Young and the Restless, but that was ruined when his character passed away.
