The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Diane gets pushy and gives Jack directions. Even though she doesn’t have the full run of Jabot just yet, she’s already calling the shots. Keep on reading for more details.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Runs Jabot
According to the Young and the Restless spoilers, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is running Jabot. She doesn’t have the top-ranking position, but she’s sure acting like she does. One Y&R fan brought up her new attitude on the Soap Central forums.
The thread is titled, “Diane is being mighty pushy to not have her seat just yet.” The original poster joked that Diane can’t eat and sleep since she’s so worried about protecting her position at Jabot. Even though she expressed that she’s not interested, she’s acting like the opposite.
“She’s very anxious if you ask me…” the user noted. “She’s giving Jack all these directives like she is already running Jabot…”
Other fans took to the thread to share their input. One noted that Diane has shown her “true colors.” Unfortunately, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) hasn’t noticed since he’s blinded by his love for her. Others are wondering how long Diane will stick around until Jack gives her the position.
What would happen if Jack wanted a stay-at-home wife? Would Diane still want to be with him? Some fans feel that she should focus on retiring rather than gaining control of a company. Another argued that Susan Walters is 59 while Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) is 64 years old and is still power-hungry.
Y&R Spoilers – What Does The Chief Talent Officer Do?
The Young and the Restless spoilers also have fans wondering what the Chief Talent Officer position entails. That would become Diane’s position if she accepts the offer. One fan explained that it’s similar to an “executive recruiter,” while another mentioned that it’s a “fancy name for the head of HR.”
Other fans suggested that the characters make up positions on the daytime soap. Another noted that the company they work for has a Talent and Acquisition Officer who “primarily recruits and hires people to work in the organization.”
Regardless, Jack doesn’t care if Diane is pushy. Yet, he gets worked up when it comes to his son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) who’s in the middle of a separation from his wife Summer Newman (Alison Lanier). This has distracted him from the dishonest people within his own company.

Why is it that you have turned Jack into such a (let me try to keep this clean) stupid, whipped little teenage boy who can’t make a decision on his own?
