Y&R spoilers reveal that Phyllis and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) ended up going their separate ways. Some fans thought that they would get back together. However, it hasn’t happened. Usually, that would mean Phyllis and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) would reunite. Even though they both have feelings for each other, they also don’t want to ruin their friendship.
Since then, Phyllis seems lost and conflicted. It appears that Phyllis just doesn’t know what to do if she isn’t with a man.

Summer contacted Phyllis and offered her a job working in Milan. If Phyllis accepts the position, she would be working for the same person as Summer, Angelina Marquetti (Cristina Serafini). Phyllis is considering taking the job. In Friday’s episode, Phyllis tells Jack about it, which is the “chaos” that was teased.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Phyllis told Jack that she is leaving in a few days. However, she also said that she is checking it out, not that she’s formally accepted the position. So, that made it clear that Phyllis might not be gone forever. In fact, a break from Genoa City, Jack, and Nick might be good for Phyllis. She needs to get rebalanced and figure out how to move forward. A break might be just the ticket to help her do that.
On social media, fans asked Stafford if she was really leaving Y&R or not.
“I hope that all that talk about Phylis leaving doesn’t mean that you are leaving too?”
“After today’s episode of Y&R looks like you may be leaving…I hope not.”

The actress confirmed that Phyllis will be exiting Genoa City. However, she also explained that it’s for two weeks. So, it sounds like Phyllis will just be taking a break and will return soon. Maybe she will have a better understanding of what she wants in life… and who she belongs with.
