According to the Young and the Restless spoilers, Nate has an identity crisis. He sees himself as one of the Newmans. He has desperately tried to move on from his past in medicine. Now, he sees himself as a business mogul and one of the members of the richest families in all of Genoa City.

The user Nuyorican_Mami posted on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “So sick of Nate acting like he is a Newman!!! Nate is infuriating! You are not a Newman! And this medical doctor who is suddenly a business phenom is absolutely unbelievable. It doesn’t even pass the soap opera believability test.”

The Y&R fans can see right through him. They don’t think this makes him a believable or interesting man. Nate is trying to be someone he’s not. He’s been lost in his life ever since he injured his hand. Some find his new personality infuriating.

One user noted: “I just spent the whole time watching him and talking to the TV! He’s so arrogant, judgmental, and a stuck-up know-it-all degrading Adam. Pompous a**!”

Another fan wrote: “I know. Nate is obnoxious. I wanted Adam to remind him that he himself is a Newman at the family company. And that Nate is NOT.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Nate now acts like a know-it-all. Suddenly, he acts like he knows all about the Newmans and their family business, even though he got lucky.

He’s faking a personality and acting like a stuck-up man just to fit in. Fans are fed up with his new image.

“I hate him. He’s a piece of you know what! He needs to [get] taken out! Arrogant s.o.b.,” one fan wrote.

“I agree that Adam should remind him that he is not a Newman and that in the end, Victor will side with his son over an outsider,” another user noted.

One Y&R fan wrote that most doctors are good business people. Yet, not everyone can be a good surgeon. Nate lost his way. It’s made fans hate his character that they once rooted for as the underdog.
