Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) have not had an easy time of it of late, but we do know they have this sixth sense where they can communicate with one another even if they are apart, as witnessed when Mariah was kidnapped and the two women could just feel one another’s presence through space and time.

Once Mariah was rescued and attached to Dominic in an unhealthy way wanting Tessa to get pregnant immediately, things seemed like they might never get back to normal, but then Tessa thought about things and decided they should have a baby — just not with Tessa becoming pregnant. So, isn’t marriage the next natural step?

Mariah and Tessa are enjoying a night out at Society, which of course, is not crowded because it never is. That gives Tessa the opportunity to get down on one knee and shock Mariah with a proposal. This is something Teriah fans have wanted for the longest time but have never been able to actually have. Will Mariah say yes and start planning a wedding? Or does she still have some reservations about their life together and wonder if Tessa is just trying to rush into things at the moment?

Is Tessa proposing because she feels desperate after almost losing Mariah, first through the kidnapping, and then via the emotional problems she had after the baby was born? Are they rushing into things or is this the exact right time for this to happen for a couple who have been through so much to be together? After all, they have had to deal with Tessa’s music career, Mariah’s one-night stand and so much more.
