According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Eric could be playing a cruel game. The user Jupiter June came up with this theory on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Is Victor playing Nate?” Victor has made Nate his confidant. Meanwhile, Nate has his own concerns about Victor’s health.
Victor could be playing a game on Nate because he doesn’t trust him. It’s hard to tell what he really thinks about Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) boyfriend. Some fans want to see Nate fall off his pedestal. He’s gotten way too confident ever since he transitioned into the business world.
“I definitely think so. Victor told Nicki there was one more test and then he called Nate. He is testing Nate…” one fan noted.

Nate hasn’t done anything shady in a while so I don’t see what pedestal he is on. He is actually showing concern for Victor. They will soon see Claire may be the one they need to be worrying about. But Nate should be happy to be away from the Newman drama. Lol.
