Y&R Spoilers: Wedding Bells, Billy Asks Lily To Marry Him?

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that things have been getting a little tense for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) since Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) kissed him in the middle of the podcast booth. He’s been with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) for a while at this point on The Young and the Restless, and honestly, we are all surprised it’s lasted this long! However, they are still keeping it together!

While some fans may find them boring, it’s interesting to see a couple last as long as they have without anything detrimental happening, however, I think that kiss is eating Billy up inside and he is going to do something drastic to try to take his mind off that moment, and it may be a little unconventional.

Let’s not lie because you can’t stand Billy or think they are boring, but Lily and Billy have truly been great together. She’s much more organized and planned while Billy is off the cuff and spontaneous and they have managed to compliment each other extremely well. The only thing I would say is the relationship may be a little lopsided as I think Billy gets more out of it than Lily does.

Let me explain: While Lily truly cares about Billy (it seems), and has continued to put up with his shenanigans for this long, I think Billy gains more by having Lily keep him balanced and on the straight and narrow than Lily gets back.

This may be one other thing, I think he may propose soon, but I think it’s only because of what happened with Chelsea. Some viewers have reacted to their relationship on social media saying, “As long as Chelsea is out there, I’ll keep my eyes wide open, Lily! Sth tells me Billy is going back to podcasting!”, “Most of the couples on the show are boring. The writers need to spice it up. The only ones with chemistry were sally and Adam and they split them up.” and “Love them together ❤️💕💕 You Both are Looking Fabulous!”

There are obviously mixed signals from fans about Billy and Lily, but this won’t stop them from having Billy propose to Lily! Will this help take Billy’s mind off Chelsea or forget that moment? Not at all, but if he shows Lily that he’s truly serious, it will show everyone else that they are for real.
