Preemptions Warning

Let’s start off with some programming news. Every year, soaps get preempted on CBS for March Madness. It’s the same this year, so don’t expect to see a new episode on Thursday or Friday.

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s focus on what we ARE going to see during the week of March 16!

Jack Abbott’s Frantic Explanation

Over on the yacht, a drugged Jack has fallen into Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk) bed. Jack can’t fight her off any longer, so he’s just giving in.

However, he also doesn’t realize that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) is on the way to rescue him!

Unfortunately, it appears from a preview clip that Diane finds Jack and Patty in bed together. While Jack might try to explain, it doesn’t sound like he can reason with Diane.

Later in the week, Diane makes a bold move at home! Meanwhile, Jack gives Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) a dose of karma.

Adam Newman’s Past

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of March 16 reveal that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) past is resurfacing. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is worried that Spider will come back instead of Adam.

However, he has to talk to Riza Thompson (last played by Tina Casciani) about Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Adam feels he owes it to help save Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect, Nate puts Cane on notice. While Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) seems to feel bad about helping Victor punish Cane, Nate will worry. Nate doesn’t want Cane being able to hurt Lily again.

Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) encourages Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to make amends with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).

Plus, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) shares surprising news with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Does she end up taking Phyllis up on her offer?

Which storyline are you looking forward to seeing the most during the week of March 16, 2026? Share your thoughts in the comment section below. Remember to keep watching the soap on CBS or Paramount+ to find out what happens next.

Nate has no business “putting Cane on notice”. Who does he think he is ? He really has no reason to be on this show ! AND Lauren is going to work for Phyllis ? Ummmmm why ?? She has her own company ! When is someone gonna take down Phyllis ? Can’t wait !!

Yes, but let’s get moving along on these story lines. Jack and Patty? Ridiculous and foolish in so many ways. Now what was there between Summer and Phycho Patty? Isn’t she Paul Williams’ sister? Why bring her character up in such a foolish way? When will Cane and Lilly going to grow up? That “kidnapping was foolish for Lilly to be a part of… What about Matt Clark? Get him out where he belongs once and for all. Nicki is always threatening Victor, empty threats… He has to win no matter who he hurts. Calls himself a father that protects his family, sure at anyone else’s expense. Selfish and vicious.. No, do not bring Spider back. Chelsea and Adam have proven people can change. Connor is their son, his health and well being is the most important thing in their lives, until recently and because Adam wants to prove he is a better person but it is hurting that family. Thank you.

LOL I thought Phyllis was going to work for Lauren when she gave the Newman businesses back. You are probably right. Either way it’s stupid. Phyllis pretending to be the boss is a joke. She thinks more of herself than anybody else does.

  • Shirley Hall

You all may not like Phyllis but look at her roles, she is the only actor on that soap that makes any sense. Get rid of Diane she is a nusiance and cannot act worth a darn. Jack needs to take Victor down a peg or two, guess his so called wife left today and did Nicky. Oh well
