Let’s start off with Nick, who is battling an addiction.
Even though he’s trying to stay clean, the temptation and cravings are too great.
Unfortunately, he also isn’t opening up to anyone about his struggles. He just keeps pretending things are just fine.
After Nick’s chat with Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) questions his son’s judgment.

As the week progresses, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) confronts Nick.
The next day, Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) unite to help Nick.
Bad Decision
Over with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he is trying to con Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) into turning against Victor.
While it seems to be working, it’s dangerous to mess with a crazy woman’s heart. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) tries to warn his father, but Jack will keep going.

Later in the week, Jack has a change of heart about Patty.
Could he start to wonder if she really is reformed? However, that seems to lead to a bad decision by Friday.
New York Drama
The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of May 18 reveal that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) will be in New York.
However, it seems they will have an unexpected situation. Also, expert Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) arrives in New York as well.

As for what else to expect next week, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) put their heads together.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) gives Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) unwanted advice.
Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) talk about forgiveness. I wonder if Devon will let go of his anger once he sees how guilty and tormented Mariah is with herself.
Also, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) worries about Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) past. With the couple expecting a baby, Sally isn’t going to put up with any nonsense from Billy.
The man has made a promise, and Sally should make sure he sticks to it. As for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), he gets paraded around town by Patty.
