Y&R spoilers for Monday, December 11 reveal that Michael will agree to take on Claire as a client.

This is risky considering the crimes that Claire and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) inflicted on the Newman family, Nikki in particular. However, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) promised to help Claire.
