Big Sky Season 2 Spoilers: Fans See A Whole New Jenny

Big Sky Season 2 sees Jenny Hoyt, (Katheryn Winnick) return after being shot in the chest. It ended in a worrying situation in Season 1 as she was bleeding a lot and Ronald, (Brian Geraghty) escaped again. Well, after her near-death experience, Jenny changed a lot. Actually, fans can expect to see a whole new Jenny with a lot of good intentions in the ABC show.

Ahead of Season 2, fans heard that the storyline brought some kids, a drug runner, and an accident scene. ABC fans heard that Logan Marshall-Green would join Kylie Bunbury and Katheryn Winnick as they kickstart the new crime at the accident scene. Additionally, a familiar face reappears from Jenny’s past. Fans know that the familiar face is Travis, (Marshall-Green) who knew Cody before his death in Season 1. Actually, his story crosses with Jenny’s as he works against a bunch of drug dealers.

Big Sky Season 2 fans heard that Jenny and Travis might explore their feelings for each other as the show progresses. In other spoilers, fans read that Travis would actually mess with her head in Season 2. This week, in an interview with Hollywood Life, Katheryn Winnick put that out there as well. The outlet noted that she said, “She has had a relationship with him in the past, a working relationship as an undercover cop. But you will see Jenny with a little kick in her step and maybe a smile. There’s definitely history.“

Jenny Hoyt will seem quite different from Season1. Katheryn promised that a near-death experience really changed her outlook on life. She told the outlet, “[a near-death experience] has to change you in some way in terms of your perspective and who you are and the choices that you make moving forward.” So, fans should expect to “see a new version of her.” She added, “It’s Jenny 2.0.”  Going forward all she wants is to become a cop again.

In Big Sky Season 2 Katheryn Winnick says that Jenny Hoyt wants the “badge to be more effective and get stuff done versus being a P.I.” Obviously, if that happens, then she’ll need to work out some other arrangement with Cassie, (Kylie Bunbury). After all, they still work towards the same goal of getting the job done. Actually, when Jenny risked her life and took a bullet for Cassie, it indicated just how deeply she loves Cassie. Kathryn described it as a “love interest.“

Lots Of Action

Katheryn Winnick also talked about loads of new characters and exciting action scenes. She mentioned, “There’s been some other deaths and murders. There are missing drugs and money. There’s a cartel that came into Big Sky. There’s literally a flood of great new characters and great new castmates to play with.”

For Katheryn, it seems really exciting to plunge into all of it and reveal a different side to the character of Jenny Hoyt.
