Big Sky Season 2 – Jenny Hoyt Meets Up With Unexpected Familiar Face!

Watch out, Jenny! Spoilers reveal that Logan Marshall-Green will become a regular cast member on Big Sky season 2, reports Deadline. The actor will work with the two leads, Kylie Bunbury and Katheryn Winnick.

During season 2 of Big Sky, private detectives Cassie Dewell (Bunbury) and Jenny Hoyt (Winnick) team up to take a look at a car wreck near Helena, Montana.

But a mystery puts them up against a group of teenagers, a familiar face from Jenny’s past, and a nasty outside force.

So who plays that familiar face? Marshall-Green takes on that role as Travis. This character knows not just Jenny but also her deceased husband Cody (Ryan Phillippe).

But Travis faces his own challenges after going undercover to try to halt a drug ring. In an undercover alias, Stone, Travis meets up with Jenny as she works on her new case.

Can Jenny and Travis stay professional while resolving their personal feelings? The emotional tangle could turn into trouble for the pair.

In addition to looking forward to Jenny and Travis’ meetup, Big Sky fans should prepare for a season 2 time shift.

Moving from its Tuesday night slot, Big Sky season 2 will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. That schedule puts Big Sky after Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy, which could boost ratings.

Big Sky show-runner Elwood Reid revealed that the plot for season 2 will show “these women processing this stuff emotionally,” reported Parade.

During the first season, Big Sky showed Jenny and Cassie almost losing their lives.

But rather than more intense drama, Reid promised “we will take a breath and process what that means, and they’ll process what that means for their relationship together going forward. That’s the heart of the show.”

Returning cast members include Kylie Bunbury (Cassie Dewell), Kathryn Winnick (Jenny Hoyt), and (plot shocker!) the return of John Carroll Lynch.

What does Lynch’s return reveal? Given that his character of Rick Legarski, died last season, we may see him in flashbacks or potentially as Rick’s twin brother.

Other returning cast include Dedee Pfeiffer (Denise Brisbane) and Brian Geraghty (Ronald Pergman).
