Blue Bloods spoilers, news, and updates tease that Blue Bloods may need to cut more casts to save the show.
CBS has announced some series renewals recently. These include 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, Tough Nails, NCIS, NCIS: Hawaii, CSI: Vegas, Survivor, Lingo, and 48 Hours. But fans are wondering where Blue Bloods is from the announcement.
The fate of the series may be in a void for now. According to reports, some stars are currently in active renewal negotiations. The series stars Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg, among others. The network is proposing budget cuts, which may eventually turn into cutting some casts. When it comes to series like this, the budget often ends up cutting some casts. As the series gets older, the talent fee, especially if the actors are highly rated, becomes higher. And with aging series like this, it is often the cause of budget problems. Since some actors are in negotiations, it probably may delay the decision of the network to announce the renewal of the series.
Blue Bloods – Is Still A Top Series
Though there are some hiccups when it comes to the renewal, the network may still consider renewing the series because it is still highly rated. It is CBS’ one of the top five series, and a lot of fans would be disappointed if the series gets canceled.
Blue Bloods casts some of the most highly-rated actors in all of Hollywood. It stars Tom Selleck, who is popular for Magnum, P.I., and Jesse Stone. Alongside Tom is Will Estes, who is known for American Drams and The Dark Knight Rises. Donnie Wahlberg is known for his roles in Saw II, Dead Silence, and The Sixth Sense. Bridget Moynahan is known for her roles in I, Robot, John Wick, and Serendipity.
The series has had some recurring characters that eventually become part of the main cast, such as Sami Gayle and Amy Carlson. The series has had star-studded guests throughout the series.
We are not sure who will be cut in the series, but we do hope it is not one of the main casts. Fans have grown to love the Reagan family, and having them incomplete would not make the series the same.
Apart from Blue Bloods, CBS is also yet to announce the renewal of S.W.A.T. Other series that have been renewed include Young Sheldon, The Neighborhood, The Equalizer, and the FBI series.
