Blue Blood fans are trying to soak up the last moments of the series, as they inch closer and closer to the series finale. There are only a few more episodes left until the very last show, and speculation is running wild on how the drama will end.
Len Cariou, who plays Henry Reagan, recently spoke to TV Insider about the show’s closing scene and how it was an “unusual experience” – offering some clues on what viewers can expect.
“Blue Bloods” Series Finale Spoilers: A Funeral Is Coming
Most every Blue Bloods show has ended with the Reagan family around the dinner table; however, the last scene in the series finale won’t be like any other typical episode.
Cariou tells TV Insider that the last scene is a funeral, and he adds the cast wasn’t in the house during filming that day when they wrapped things up.
He notes, “I was finished that day myself and several of the others, Tom [Selleck]‘s group of guys, Bridget [Moynahan] and Steve [Schirripa], and the others, they were done that day, too, before the rest of the episode was finished.”
He goes on to say, “So, it was kind of strange in that sense, just like any other day, any other week. And we had just kind of gotten used to the fact that we had said our goodbyes…”
“Blue Bloods” Series Finale Spoilers – Who Will Pass Away?
At this point, it’s hard to say if someone will pass away during the series finale or in one of the episodes leading up to it. It’s also challenging to speculate on which character will meet their demise … will it be someone within the Reagan family or a supporting character?
